Hello Sisters!!
Hello my sweet friends, haven't been on much, I think of you all the time, and want to say I love you all!!!
Ever since my daughter Erica and her hubby moved back here I've been quite busy, it has helped me get back into the game of life. I believe the loss of Ryan for 8 years this coming April 15th, and Erica moving away 4 years later to be with her husband at Mc Quire Air force Base in New Jersey was hard for me, but knowing it was a wonderful life for her. She is a changed young lady, all grown up.. I went through the empty nest syndrome as if I lost her too. Now I have her back doing thing together, walking our dogs, her new Black Lab Zoey, 4mo. old and my Yorkie Jake he is a 15lb Yorkie very strong and rugged Jakey is....We are painting her Apt. upstairs in my house. We go to the Gym, WELL, we need to get back to it soon, its the cold weather that stops us going, lol always an excuse you think, lol..We go food shopping together sometimes, and cloths shopping we go, but we both try to stay away from that cause she has So many clothes it has become a nightmare to me anyway, like I said before its stuff that clutters up and I hate clutter, my Electric bill had tripled since shes been here..
Chris her husband just got the word he has been excepted in the FAA for Massachusetts, Air Craft Controller, the choices is Logan Airport, The Cape, Nantuckett, Bedford Ma...The thing is he is still waiting for WHEN he starts, Very frustrating for him.. He wants to start his next adventure, I don't blame him..We are all adults now and it is hard living together at times, I will appreciate the time we spent together and when they get their own place it will be awesome to have them closer home from us..
I lose my focus on what I need to do to take care of me, which I haven't done b/c of taken care of everyone else..I can actually say "The Best is yet to come" just like the quote that I picked out of the bowl at the Labyrinth at the Cape with Joan Anderson.. When I picked that Quote I said to myself," Ya Right, how is that possible after losing my son Ryan" The Best Is Yet To Come! Huh I never thought in a million years this would be...If I THINK Positive, I can believe it, but only for the Grace Of God/Ryan walking by my side hand and hand guiding my way, I Believe!
I've been feeling that hugh sadness knowing Ryans Angel date is around the corner April 15th. Our little group of FMO moms from Boston/Cape area are meeting for lunch on March 29th... Sharon, Jason's birthday is April 9th, Sharon Kevin's Angel date is April 4th, and Sue moved to Florida from the cape area her Doug's angel date is April 4th, just like Sharon's Kevin angel day, then me my son Ryan's angel day is in April 15,.. These are the connections we have with so many fmo moms it is what keeps me believing..
Now the Information about the retreat is getting me pumped up, and August 8th is Ryan's birthday!! WooooWhooo!! it just is getting better, LOL... The Best is yet to come!! Yippppeeeee!! I love you Ryan and miss you more and more every day!
Love to all my SOTH!!
XO
Kelly

Can hardly wait to see you in Tahoe - we\'ll celebrate Ryan\'s birthday. WOO HOO!!!!! Hugs, Ann
Hi Kelly! Thank you for the update on Erica and her hubby, Chris. I am so glad that they are doing so well.
It\'s so great that you are meeting for lunch soon with other FMO moms. Please give them all a big hug from me too!
April is also hard on me. Jared was born on April 3rd. He was 26 when he passed. Now Laura is 27, almost 28, and has surpassed her brother in age. It\'s kind of a sad feeling.
The other day someone asked me how many children I had. I always say four (including Jared) but I found myself saying Celeste, Laura ... It was like Jared was the second child and how could I have said Laura second without a thought! That really tugged at my heart.
But anyway, I can\'t wait for this coming retreat and to see all my dear SOTH again!
Please give my regards to Erica and Chris!
Love you!
Diane
So proud of you and the healing you\'ve done, you\'ve come a long way baby! Kudo\'s to Erica and Chris, I know you\'ll miss them, but are thankful their there now. Sending you and Ryan big hugs and all my love! See you soon, wink wink!!
Thanks for the update on Erica and Chris...and the fur kids! I can\'t believe Jake is 15lbs!! He\'s a big boy!! Monday was short and stocky...all muscle at 10lbs. Maui is all leg and a whopping 6lbs.
Glad you\'ll be seeing the girls soon...oh those special hugs and meetings are so great and so needed! I\'ve been blessed lately to have met two new moms, Cindy and Donna.
Looking SO forward to this years retreat!! See you then sweets!
Love you!
Love to Ryan!
Sounds so exciting, all of it! Love you, Kelly! I am trying my best to get to Tahoe...keep me in mind if you need a roomie... Love you
Peace.
August 8th is my daughters birthday. I only live 200 miles from Tahoe If I,am feeling good I had that surgery breast implants ruptured serious surgery. My husband and I will drive up there so I can meet all the moms or the ones who come. Glad your daughter is back near you. Bless your angel. Big hugs and love Mary Ann
Looking forward to Tahoe!
\'The best is yet to be\'. I can\'t fathom it but I just say the better is yet to be and that is okay. How wonderful to be able to spend time with your daughter, but I can certainly understand too much togetherness.
Looking towards Angel Day is so tough. I don\'t know that I will ever get used to this new life.
Don\'t forget to look after yourself!
Love and hugs,
Marlene
I always appreciate reading your thoughts dearest Kelly, as they let me know how you are feeling and doing. I can only imagine how this time has felt for you with your daughter home and her hubby. A time to get all caught up and then our children do have their lives that they are leading that are independent of us so it\'s a dance indeed to continually be learning.
Please give all those precious women a tight hug when you gather together and I will be thinking of you. Knowing that April is approaching and how the days leading up can feel... Deepest of sighs...
Feeling your excitement about the retreat and know I will be with you all in spirit and in heart. Thank you for remembering my Douglas and all the children of the moms who cannot attend this year.
We always need things to look forward to and what a quote to have picked from Joan. It is something to hold onto, isn\'t it and not something that ever could have felt believable or possible those first days, months and years...
Love to you and your handsome Ryan always,
XO Joanie
I also see what you are doing on FB... having fun with Erica and Chris...
I envy you having so many FMO moms around...
hugs and cant wait to see you in Tahoe !
MaryLou
Glad that all is well--your daughter is fortunate that her hubby has a wonderful career--and I\'m sure it helps Mom worry less, too! Hope he can start soon-so nice they\'ll be closer to you when they relocate. Love, Donna
