Hello, It's been a while

Last time I wrote my daughter had just gotten over her manic phase. Thank goodness that is done. She has let go of a boyfriend, taken on a new and just today told them both she " just wants to be single". So hurray for her.

Today we met my grandson's new PSR. She seems nice. We'll see. We've had to change service facilities because the one we had for so long has closed it's doors. Sad because they were great. And it has taken to facilities to replace them!

My grandson is doing pretty well. We have some responsibility issues to address with him but are helping the PSR will help us with that. I guess, from what she said, the PSR acronym has changed but I am still in the dark. I think she said CSR- not sure.

My granddaughter had a fainting spell a few weeks ago. Scarey. Come to find out she has a heart murmur. When she was born the doctor said she had this and that she will probably never have a problem with it. Down through the years there was never anything on her annual check ups and now this. I think that is weird.

And then we come to me. I am feeling the winter blues. I have S.A.D. and severe depression so those are fun. Go through my sleep cycles and am staying up late and sleeping late right now. Ugh! The less I go out driving our in social situations the better. Right now we don't have a lot going on so that is GREAT.

What I need is a good laugh. One of the gals on here puts a lot of jokes and such on her entries. I don't know how to do that.  Have a few funny ones I've seen on Facebook.

Anyway, I am just trying to get some articles written and keeping on trudging. Will be glad when Spring comes back. And there is still  December, January, February and March to go through. HELP!

It\'s good to hear your daughter is doing better and I think it is good she is being more rational about the boyfriends. I hope the new PSR works out for your grandson. I\'m happy things are going well there. Sorry to hear about your granddaughter. I hope her fainting doesn\'t mean there is a big problem with the heart murmur. That is scary.

It seems so many are faced with S.A.D. Winter time can be so gloomy at times. I too have bouts with depression and anxiety. Laughter and fun things help me through by not take things so seriously. Staying busy also helps to occupy my thoughts. I hope your writing helps with that. I\'m sending wishes for you to have a less depressing winter and that hopefully Spring will be right around the corner. Big Hugs xoxoxo

I hope all works out well for all of you, your daughter is probably better off single for now. I hope your granddaughter doesn\'t have too many problems with her heart, that is really scary.
Sorry to hear that you suffer from S.A.D, I don\'t do so well in the winter months either, I hate that it gets dark so early, it is depressing but try and do my best to deal with it and try and keep busy. Laughter is always good, it helps a lot.
I hope you find something to smile or laugh at today.
Hugs, Jean

I hate the short days in winter!!! I don\'t have SAD, but having dealt with depression in general, I understand. Have you ever tried one of those special lights to help... I\'ve known a couple people who say they really help. And you\'re right... A good laugh always helps. Hope you have a good one today. :)
