hello from zonie
Hey Everyone, i'm visiting my sista in Zonie, with my son, and today we went tubing down the salt river and had a good time. I feel good, got excercise and had a short little vacation, good for the soul. No anxiety really and have people around, my nephews, sister, my best friend, and my son, and i dont feel anxious or lonely or isolated, its kind of nice. I think a lot of my problem is at home i spend hours and sometimes days alone, isolated, and it gives me huge anxiety, nobody to talk to, nobody to do anything with, and i think anybody who spent so much time alone would start feeling the way it makes me feel, because i have felt so fullfilled the last couple days where people actually want me around, and I feel like my self esteem has been lifted up so much. AT home, no family, only a few friends and they are busy most of the time, then my job, its working alone, in 8.5 hours i am lucky to get 4 trucks to log in, and i'm alone in there. I'm glad my son is off school now because he will be with me. But most of the time, even my son gets depressed when we are alone too much, and we cant do much most of the time because we are usually broke and cant even get gas to do anything at these prices. So we get stuck, we try walking the dog, or riding bikes, or doing yard work, but we both need interaction with people, i think its human. I think thats where my depression and anxiety get out of control mostly. Any responses to this entry, i would like to hear from you. thanks all my friends here who support me and encourage me, and have suggestions, i'm really trying to do better. ok, i'll be doing the drive home early this morning, and i hope everyone is doing ok, all my friends, hugs!! peace, Rhonda

Glad you had fun. Yes I agree with you about being around people. I\'m home alone most of the time, but now have 3 of my grandkids around for the summer. I try to keep busy with them by going to the park, zoo, etc, but it\'s not the same as being around regular people. When I go to Vegas I love to spend time with my sister-in-law, Donna. Her and I get along so well and talk about how my Mom and brother, Tom, are great, but can drive you crazy. She is so great and a lot of fun, but sometimes both Tom and Mom pick on her. Gas prices here are so bad and I take the stroller or wagon and we go for walks, exercise for me and fun for the kids. I\'m here when you need me. Ramona
