HEAT WAVE?!

the past 2 weeks or so i just been stayin out of the sun... stayin at home mostly. the antibiotics said to NOT be in the sun too long, so that left swimming (at the beach) out ....well i don't have much else to do as far as excersice goes, so the deit to lose weight probably didn't even move the scale. i need these 8 lbs off so i don't have to buy new clothing. most of my clothes don't fit me anymore do to the weight gain (just 8 lbs!). i guess on a small build like mine, 8 lbs makes a huge difference. i stopped taking the last antiboitic (the 2nd one) a couples days short of what it said to do because it made me so sick anymore, more than just nausea, i really felt SEA SICK! you would think with the complete loss of appetite that i would lose at least one lbs, but no... no weight loss here. infact i think i may have gained a pound or 2 from all the inactivity. well it's done and over with. no more of the anitbiotics! i feel much better now and i'm pretty darn sure the infection got stomped out. it should have been, with 2 different antibiotics and for that long! sheesh! the kittens are growing to be huge! lol! well at least Spike, is. he's doubled the size of his brother already. not sure why Miko is staying small and cuddly. they got their next appt coming up on the 12th. can you believe it's August already?? what happened?! i have to make a note here that it's been so freakin ~~~HOT~~~. i can't remember Hawaii ever being this hot before. i've never needed AC before but boy, am i glad we have one! i feel like i'm gonna have a heat stroke with all this unusual heat! so odd.... Saturday here at home we had our new every Saturday Bible study for the 3rd time. it's going pretty good and everyone takes a turn bringing up study topics for the next time. this last one was done by Sonnie. he read about calling people names and how it shouldn't be done because it sets off bad things to happen to the person's life (the name caller's).  we also baked some Turkey pieces and for the 1st time baked a nutty banana bread. oh gosh, the banana nut bread is sooooo good! we made 2 small loaves and i almost ate up the 1st whole one the 1st day, it's so darn good!! if you want the recipe (i kinda came up with my self) i'll message it to you. just let me know. next i will try Mango bread, since our mango tree is going nuts with baring fruit! MMMmmmm...... we been making mango smoothies with em!  today i ran out of cymbalta. it was supposed to come in the mail Fri or Sat but nothing yet. so i took a partial dose yesterday and that was all i had. today i cancled going ot he VA cuz withdrawals will probably have me feeling like total shit. BUT i still have to reregester my car, the plate expired. and i still have to find a notary to refile the paper work to SUE my ex-land lady from last years rental. ahhhhh! i want my money back! CROOK! she owes me like $2,700! well that's all for now.... sorry if it's long. my entries are never short, huh? guess life isn't boring enough lol.... thanks for being there my friends! thanks for being supportive! can't wait to see you, B! take care and God bless, everyone!

How hot has it been there? We are ALWAYS extremely hot and humid here in lowere Alabama. You walk out the door and it is like walking into a sauna. Man I would love to have a Mango tree to make mango smoothies Mmmmmmm.
The Bible study sounds good. I am reading a very interesting book you ought to google. It is called \"so you don\'t want to go to church anymore\" It really brings out how WE bring in the \"rules\" of christianity. God didnt man did. My daughters boyfriend wants to read it when I am finished. He had already heard about it :-)

Have a wonderful day, and by the way.....the \"whole loaf\" of banana bread could be another factor to not losing 8 lbs ha ha ha ha ha

LOL... well i used whole wheat flour and i substituted half the oil with unsweetened apple sauce. and plus nuts and bananas are good for you! Mmmmmm.
the reason i don\'t go to church is because they are too loud here, and my head aches can\'t handle it. also, they tend to be soooo long (2-3 hrs)! my back pain can\'t handle sitting there for so long in such uncomfortable chairs. until i find one that\'s short and sweet and quiet, i guess Bible studies at home will have to do for now. besides, it\'s good for the family. it brings us closer to each other and closer to God at the same time. i\'ll check out your book....

Hey! I would definitely love the recipe for the banana nut bread! It sounds like it was delicious! I absolutely love mangos, so, mango slushies and mango bread sounds fabulous! I would love to try to bake some things when I visit! Hey, it\'s something else we have in common! LOL....Are you sure we\'re not sisters lost at birth?
I wouldn\'t be able to sit through church services that are that long, so Bible studies sound great! I will say that I don\'t know the Bible that well. That\'s something that\'s on my list to get a really good one of because the one I have isn\'t the greatest. Oh, well, I try. :)
Can\'t wait to see the kittys! I love cats, so, I think we\'ll get along great!
I so can\'t wait to see you! I\'m so excited that I think it\'s making me feel better and a little more energetic! Yay!
Don\'t overdo it with anything! I hate hearing that you\'re sick and not being able to do anything for you! Take care and talk to you and see you soon! :P Love ya! xoxoxo

I took a long time to keep my word. I have had a huge, bigtime slip to get around, but I did it, and that is that. Next time, it will be different.

hope the cymbalta comes quickly. I was offered it once, but my GP looked at his chart, and said, OOOOH!
That is very expensive, let\'s try xxxxxx, instead. I am about done with doctors. There is a Great Physician who tells me to \"Fear Not\". I only have one problem, and it is enough to kill me many times over. It is called sin. That\'s it. All the others stem directly from that. Like I said, I have a Great Physician. He works surprisingly well for me!
If it works for you, work it! Whatever you are doing that works for you is a good thing. I sure could use the mangoes. Deb almost lives off fruit smoothies since the bypass, and mangoes cost about $4 each, when we can get them. Of course, Deb loves them more than anything. So I spoil her, and work overtime, lololol!! I have a bi-weekly Bible study group, also. WE are slowly working our way through the NT. We are in Acts 13. If you get really down, read slowly Psalm 18. Shield and Tower, that is what OUR God is! The rock higher than ourselves!
Peace to Pribady, and may the skinny fairy bop your head with the shrink wand! :) :) :) :P

I\'d like the banana nut bread reciepe too. And if you could fax over one of them Mango Smoothies... that\'d be super. It\'s been a record cool summer here so far, but today was hot & humid, and I felt like a saturated sponge after just a half an hour outside.
Thanks.
