Heartfelt Appreciation

I wan to make a statement...a true, from-the-heart conviciton:
I soooo deeply appreciate ALL of my friends on this site...those who help me and those who I help too....or at least I hope I have helped some of you? If not, give me a chance to...I will be glad to try:)
See...I have no family really, with the exception of a stepmother who despises me...and one aunt who is my favorite person in the world...she is age 93 and full of life, zest, joy, and humor! I can have a bad day...call or go visit her...and in 5 minutes feel sooooo inspired! She has been the joy of my life since I was a child...with the exception of my deceased father (her brother)...he was/is my idol, hero, best friend...he and I were more like brothers than father/son! I used to cancel dates to do things with my father...and I would not change anything for nothing! (Except having him with me longer...lost him in 2007)...that is when my life took a severe downward spiral...depression, anxiety, panic, suicide attempts...backslide from the LORD...but since repented-but feel guilty over it still:(
I have many friends in real life...blessed there...BUT...they have their lives/family/problems too..we help each other some...but with conflicting work schedules, etc...they are not always available.
You GREAT ladies and gentlemen have been here for me 24/7 and I hope you know that applies for me to all of you as well!
I take nothing for granted!
Many times, people do not show appreciation to those worthy of it in their lives!
Just letting you know how much you mean to me! SO if any of you think you are not making a difference....copy and paste this to your desktop...and refer to it!
GOD bless ALL of you!!!!!!!!!!

God bless you too!!!! And thank you for showing appreciation, as you say it is something that we so often forget to do.
Something that caught my attention in your journal..... your holding onto guilt.
The biggest and hardest part of repentance is the forgiving of oneself. As soon as you asked God\'s forgiveness for your backsliding away from God, God forgave you, so please please forgive yourself and let that guilt go. That guilt is the work of the evil one trying to keep you stuck. Live in the light of God\'s forgiveness and Grace.

Wow. Sorry I am just now reading this. Thanks for the appreciation. I agree with new2free. There is much to the guilt trip. Especially when you guilt yourself. You have helped many, if only by being there. A friend is one who listens, and really listens.

I hope and pray that I have been that friend for you, too!

new2free--you are sooooo right..\"self forgiveness\" I struggle deeply with!! And you are right...it is the work of the evil one....I long for the day whenever JESUS casts him and his demons into his very own lake of fire! I will shout praises and joy!!! Then laugh!

Ms. Turk--you are a great friend, a true blessing from GOD, and your inspiration inspires me a lot:) I admire how you, like myself, take the \"brave stance\" for our Savior!!!! After all...HE did more for us!

You must go bravely and boldly to the thrown of God to get what is needed. Remember, God supplies what we need. Our wants....well....that should be up to us. But we should want nothing else.
