Heartbroken

I met this amazing man when he came to work on our house some years ago. He was 10 years younger but we clicked immediately. We fought hard to stay away from each other as I was married at the time but in the end we couldn't resist each other, I ended my loveless marriage and we started dating. He was my other half - the nicest person I ever met. We fought but we knew we belonged together.  His family totally disproved of our relationship. He was willing to give them up for us. We had 6 amazing months together. Then last week he died following an extremely short illness.  I'm devastated.  I have an 8 year old child who is also devastated.
