Heart is broken in two

My heart is so broken, I don't know how I am going to keep going. My husband was my life,  I know that God has him in his hands and that he is no longer in pain. But I am still here with a giant hole in my heart. I love you darling and miss you so much, you fought so hard for so long. Letting you go was the hardest thing I have ever done. Knowing I can't hear you laugh or watch you play with the cat, or even make plans for our future together. It has only been a little over a week that you went home to heaven but I still expect you to walk through the door any moment. I love you more.
