HEARING AIDS
Can someone help? I am hearing impaired and i am trying my best to hear the phone at work when the TV is on and people are talking. I tried Oticon cic then siemen lotus 23p but I have the same result. I cannot differentiate sounds in noise. This is very frustrating and makes a day at work very frustrating.

Where do you work where you can watch TV while working...I might want to apply there??? My brother bought used hearing aids on eBay, but he heard other people\'s voices in them. I wish I could help.
Yes, very frustrating when you have to use all your energy trying to hear. Otican cic is no good . I have mine in my draws, You will need a open fit and then you have to turn down the TV to your level or turn the phone up. It is the challenge that goes with the condition.
Have you talked to your ear specialist about this problem? I know my brother had to be custom fitted for the correct hearing aids, he claims they work very well. I couldn\'t believe he actually bought used ones at first and then complained about hearing only background noise, he can afford new ones but he is cheap.
walrus---used aids?? where?? man that wld be so awesome... Tom that is the name of the aids I have on now and it took me forever and a day to get used to them. That was 20 yrs ago maybe..... Need better ones but cant afford them now.
