HEARD FROM GOD YESTERDAY
Sometimes God appears to speak to us just when we need His opinion! After I wrote the journal that I felt like quitting Daily Strength, I received a strong MESSAGE that spoke to me.
I don't believe in "coincidence". I believe in "signs" from God or the Universe that give us the answers we are needing.
When I went to my mailbox last night, I was pleased to find that a charity had sent me several greeting cards with religious themes.
AMAZINGLY, one of them quoted John 7:38 which says:
"Whoever believes in Me, rivers of LIVING WATER will flow from within him."
Since my name on Daily Strength is LIVING WATER, I considered that a divine dictate to stay. And thank you for the kind words from DS members.
I chose the name LIVING WATER partly because of a hymn we sang in the church of my childhood:
"I heard the voice of Jesus say, behold I freely give the living water, thirsty one, stoop down and drink and live..."
Enough said!

How precious I loved reading your journal. I agree Judy God directs our paths and we just walk willingly and obey Jesus. There is a reason you are in daily strength. The best is yet to come sweet lady.

I am glad you are staying. God has more than one way to get our attention and to answer our questions.
I believe that God speaks to us too. Like I said in my message, I am glad that you decided to stay on DS. I need the encouragement that you send as a sister in Christ. i believe in signs as well and look for them all the time. i try not to be overly conservative or too in the box, just for that reason, i want to be trapsing around where god says i should be, i need the flexibility to do that. just be and go. enjoyed your journal.
