Health Update
Well I went and saw doctor today in Manhattan. The clinic had called once they had gotten the blood work report and he has placed me on zocar...for high cholesterol. Overall came back at 209/ triglycerides at 199 and the cut off is 200 and 165.
Today he gave me the results of my UA that I dropped off before our visit. Things came back clean with no protein, no sugar, no keotones, etc. So that was all good.
So basically, i am now basically seeing him for high blood pressure for the most part. He would like to see me loose weight but knows that is probably not going to happen.
While I was in the office I finally asked him about the mole on my right elbow. He wasn't certain what to make of it either so we decided to go ahead and do a punch biopsy of it. So now we wait for about 10 days to get the results back. The mole hadn't really changed shape or color or was itching, bleeding, etc but the fact that I have this circle around it that has developed over the last couple of years made him wonder a little. Better to be safe then sorry about it we thought.
Tomorrow my husband goes in for an MRI on his fatty liver. HE has a couple of spots on it that the doctor is watching. Apparently the sonogram didn't show enough details or something that they want an MRI ran. It should be fun to see him on a valium since he has to take it on an empty stomach and is a light weight when it comes to drugs like this. Just hope I can get him in and out of the vehicle okay.
So I am hoping for a nap tomorrow late morning since Athena is going to a friend's and Olivia will be at school. Not holding my breath but it could happen! LOL
So overall this ole lady isn't doing too bad health wise outside of having a hard time walking due to back issues. Not much is going to change that unless I have surgery and I am not rushing into that at all!
