Healing & Son

Well, I was in such a holding pattern on Saturday that I looked up to see if my Dr office had Sunday hours & they did! So I went on Sunday, took a hit from a nebulizer (which opened up the passageways somewhat) & got a prescription for amoxycillin & was told to take Mucinex 12-hour. I never did get to the symphony & felt bad about it, but I was still feeling really bad.
I'm sooo much more functional now & have been back to work, getting much accomplished. However, the bronchitis is still "there" (I guess the antibiotic is still doing its work). I really hope it clears up soon. I want to be able to laugh & sing & breathe without having a couging fit! And to get back into exercising...I did NOT like what the scale said when I went to the Dr's office! (Another weird thing was my BP was kind of on the high side, which it never is; maybe due to being sick??)
Oh, to feel "normal" again!
On a different note, I got a call from the school psychologist, saying that DS was getting a psych eval again; apparently, this was part of a battery of re-evaluative tests that came out of the last PPT back in January. (And they're just getting around to it now??) I didn't remember signing the consent (but I did--they faxed it to me; signed under durress!). But the good thing is that I can revoke it & I think I will. I mean, it's one thing if they'd started the re-eval back in early Feb, because then they'd really have time to make any necessary adjustments. But now? He only has about 2 months left (if you take out all the vaca days & the days they're not really even teaching at the end of the year) and then he graduates. What good will it be now? All it will accomplish is getting him out of class.
