healing, remission, gratitude
I remember one summer that my chronic pain went away. I was sure I had been healed by God. I had pled many times for healing, others prayed for my healing and others in church prayed over me for my healing. This was early June 2004 to mid September 2004. What in the world happened? I've never heard of remission from Fibromyalgia, which was my worst pain problem at that time. Something else I wonder about that someone once told me is that the body can heal itself. How does that work? I just feel much gratitude when I have a whole afternoon without severe pain and that is rarer and rarer now. Gratitude is an important factor in coping as well as hope and positive thoughts. Gratitude and hope are born from positive thoughts. How we think is so very important to the way we feel. Not physically but in our minds and hearts, I think. I must remember to count my blessings more. : ) Sherry
