Healing & More

Slowly, but definitely surely, I'm on the road to healing. I've moved from pain to soreness to discomfort to tenderness. I'm regaining my flexibility (noticing each week that I can do more), and most of my strength. It's the strength that will take the longest to rebuild.
Unfortunately, it seems that I've regained the bit of weight that I've lost, due to decreased exercise! But I can walk pretty easily again; not as fast, but getting faster daily.
My son is the same, although last night he attended a college & career youth group meeting (first one of the summer). I guess he liked it, but we didn't have a chance to really talk about it.
My daughter went to prom. She had a date, but they went as part of a group of friends. She also has gone on a couple more dates with this guy. He seems really nice & his dad seems really involved in his life (his mom has passed away).
We bought the dog a ramp so that he can go up & down from the house more easily. He isn't crazy about it & he does need help going up-ramp, since gravity pushes him back on his bad legs. But it beats picking him up!
