Healing?
Went shopping today, and for the first time since Jason died I felt like decorating for Christmas. I bought a wreath for my front door and some holly plants for the porch. Perhaps God does provide some degree of healing, after all.
If anyone would like to view Jason's memorial, go to www.mem.com. Type in Jason Emanuel (one m) and click on movie.

I just visited the website.....thank you for sharing it with us...and for sharing Jason. What a handsome young man!! His smile warmed my heart; I know how much you miss it and him.
I do believe there IS healing, and it\'s for all of us. It just takes a long time to find it.....to be ready to accept it.
I\'m so glad you\'ve found this measure of peace and feel like decorating again! Kudos to you sweetie!! Your porch will be a reminder to you each time you approach it that there is always hope and you have a lot of be proud of yourself for!
Love and hugs,
Teri
So glad you are experiencing some joy in life! I looked at the Christmas decorations but haven\'t done anything. I have to do some decorating before the 30th of November as I have friends coming for dinner.
Take care and enjoy the season.
Now I am going to visit Jason!
Love and hugs, Marlene
What a beautiful page filled with such wonderful times and memories in yours and Jason\'s life. Very nicely done.
No question mark needed in your title... Indeed that is what healing feels like for me too. I imagine your entry way to be so very inviting and I looked at your tribute to Jason too. Such a handsome and fun loving son. Our sons both adored dressing up for Halloween and the one of him standing in front of the fireplace I had my husband come and look at as it reminded me so much of ones we have of Doug. :)
Wishing you continued peace and healing on this path and gratitude for these steps towards wanting to do some of the things that have been impossible to even think about let alone do.
Love and hugs and oh, such a beautiful son you have in every way.
XO Joanie
I watched the movie Beautiful pictures very moving. You did a great job. Jason I am sure is proud of you.

Hi Katrina, I am so happy to hear that you\'re feeling up to decorating this year. That is a HUGE step forward I believe. Knowing that our beloved children now live in JOY forever that cannot be snatched away from them...helps us! We can allow ourselves to feel increasingly more increments of life and joy to re-enter once again. This makes my day! Have a wonderful weekend my friend...Thinking of you and Jason, Donna p.s. I have viewed that wonderful tribute to Jason awhile back...simply bitter-sweetly wonderful.
Katrina, I hope the decorations willl help in your healing and that you will feel Jason\'s love through the holidays. The website is beautiful. I enjoyed looking at the pictures of his life. Thank you for sharing your handsome son with us. Hugs, Kim
I\'m feeling a bit better this year about the holidays also, there is healing happening. We will also miss our Jason\'s.
Thank you Katrina, for directing us to the memorial page for Jason. I watched the movie with a lump in my throat...a very loving tribute for a sweet and wonderful gift from God. It is hard to accept sometimes that our children left before we did...but it is as God allowed. Jason was blessed to have you as his mom. As I watched every photo of the milestones in his life, I am reminded that we can have a billion pictures that glimpses into a very brief past...but forever is so very long...and our time together will be infinite. I know you treasure every moment and every special occasion your son had in this life. It continues....for certain.
Healing takes a long time....we are never going to be completely healed until we are reunited. I do find that with every passing year...those holidays and events we dread without them...are doable....I have caught myself laughing and smiling even...who would have thought? I pray you continue to heal as God allows and that you will always have the peace that passes all understanding. Much love, dale..brandon\'s mom
Katrina, I am happy to share our renewed spirit (even if a little bit at a time) together. I will go to my 1st Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow since my son died (and it so happens to be my son\'s 4th Angel Date). But, I am ready! Baby steps, my friend. And in our own time. Hugs, Belinda
I watched the movie and the tears flowed easily. A beautiful memorial. My son died on Christmas day so I understand your feelings about the holidays. I always dread them, but allowed myself to take the baby steps to get thru them. I agree with Belinda, each of us has to take our own time. Hugs filled with love surround you today. love and peace, Roselle
