Headset
So I am putting off getting World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor, as well as resubbing until February. I am gonna get Christmas this coming month, then save to get a refurbished pair of Astro A40's in January. Would rather do this that way I can have a headset that works both on PS3 and PC. :]

I have been going back too yesterdays gaming. Running PS one and PS two emulators to play old games I miss. Those were the days when 4mb to 32mb of ram could run decent games. Today you need the power of what mainframe servers were in year 2000 to do what games require today in a home PC.
If somebody say wanted to play alien isolation, a quad core required game on their dated P4, I\'d say to them, are you crazy, the game will pop your capacitors. Lol
Yeah technology has come a long way, and so has gaming.
I know, I never thought I\'d see the days when gaming got this realistic. However, I gotta say, I am not too fond of this fremiumware BS, if you own a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, then it will be fast enough to play some intensive games. Well, ,amy of the games are fremiumware, but really what they are saying is, its free to download and play, but were going to make the game so difficult that you need to buy game items with real money, in order to progress, plus will slam you with adds while you go through the game menu\'s.
I am sure by now you have heard of or played plants vs zombies. There is a sequel out, plants vs zombies 2, and EA bought the company Popcap and they ruined the series IMO by turning PVZ into a fremiumware based business model. The game is astronomically hard compared to PVZ 1, after playing as far as I could go, I removed it off my tablet to conserve space.
If you got a fast tablet or smartphone, some games I recommend are Doom, PVZ1, Dead Trigger 2, Nova 3. DT2 is a zombie based game which is very fun, but its not so hard you feel you need to buy with your real money to progress. Nova 3 is among the most realistic FPS shooters I\'ve seen for Android operating system. If you\'ve played Halo and liked it, you will like Nova 3, its very much like Halo, without infringing on Microsoft copyrights lol. Oh I forgot to say, the Doom game I got is specifically Doom GLES and is for android OS, its a remake of original doom with some better graphics. Of course I get everything from google playstore, that way I feel like I am covered, especially when I pay for the game. My tablet has a 1.2GHZ quad core processor, which makes it pretty fast, but not as fast as my 2.2GHZ quad core notebook with 3GHZ auto overclock.
These tablets have come a long way since the original Ipad, and beings that I can connect my tablet to a HDMI display, such as my 60\" plasma tv, and hook up a bluetooth gamepad to my tablet, it easily turns it into a gaming console. At the rate things are going, it won\'t be long before tablets start giving gaming consoles a run for their money. I also have GTA SA for my tablet, and it can play almost perfectly smooth with high graphics settings. I turn off a few options to smooth it out further but all in all, I am very impressed with what my tablet can do with the Android OS. I chose to not get into XboxONE as Microsoft botched that project up bigtime and everybody knows it. And while PS4 technically looks nice, their consoles are not backwords compatible, so forget playing your original PS1 and PS2 games on it.
In the early days, my brother and I were Nintendo fanboys, but I haven\'t been happy with their consoles since the N64 days, Nintendo is now known for only cutsi pie games with horrible controller designs, and stupid console names, sorry, I just can\'t justify their BS either. I hear that valve is going to come out with the Steam box, a gaming console of its own, might be something worth looking at in the future. But as it is right now, I might end up buying a more powerful tablet in the future as a gaming console, as seeing what mine can do, holly crap, watch out console makers, cause the tablet is coming through lol.
