Heading to San Diego This Morning!
I am going to make a 2 1/2-hour drive to San Diego this morning for my monthly acupuncture appointment and visit with some of my old pals. I'll be spending the night and returning home on Sunday afternoon.
After living there over 20 years, I relocated to the remote town of Joshua Tree in July 2010 to live with my new husband. It was a rough transition, but I've come to accept my new life. I do enjoy my monthly visits, but not the drive. For almost 3 years I made that drive (5 hours round trip) just about every weekend. Now, just making the drive once a month seems like a task. Funny how your perspective changes as your life changes!

Thanks, Abby. I had a wonderful acupuncture treatment! I also had a pain-free weekend with no IBS episodes, so I am very grateful. I managed to do a 6-mile hike this morning with my friend Cate and it was a gorgeous day on top of it! :-)
