Heart

Right now I am studying what God is telling us about the heart in his word. I am doing this study because my heart needs to be fixed. Going in the hospital a few weeks ago and the Lord allowing it only to be NOTHEN But time in an er. LOL. , I need praise the Lord for that. But since my heart is physically fine. It got me thinking is it spiritually fine. Is some of this ride my faught because I want the microwave fix, or I want the answers that I want. And I am going to do it my way to get the joy and peace that is freely given to me through Christ. As I began this study I realized that my heart is so mixed with emotions. And I allow those emotions to dictate what I do, who I talk to, and even to let the pity party begin. Thank God he is allowing me to open my ears to hear what he is trying to fix. This may not make any sense to anyone but me. But I don't want a dried up bone of heart. I don't want to walk around where others see me and say, boy is she a depressed girl. I want them to see the joy of the Lord, and rejoice with me, that their savior died for all. How can I fix this heart, How can I avoid future turmoil???????????? Don't get me wrong, I know that this wilderness that I am facing right now is a learning time for me. Think about walking in the deep woods, I love the outdoors,  Now these woods are heavy with trees. If you close your eyes, you can hear the animals all around you. you hear the wind hitting the leaves. As I look up in the woods there really is not a clear path. I can take a rocky path, or one with over grown weeds. But both are not going to be easy. And with each step I take I can hear the ground that I step on. Well my grief is like this wilderness. And sometimes I allow the sound of  the wilderness to get me distracted off the path. Yes, I cry tears because I miss him.. But if I listen to the birds singing, I think they would tell me keep going you are going to be alright and he loved you. Yes, I feel lonely, but that gleam of sunlight that makes it through the trees reminds me that GOD IS HERE AND I SHOULD NOT FEAR NOT.  But keep traveling along the path there is an end to the woods. And there will be a day I will have peace and joy.So back to the heart. I am aiming and praying GOD fixes it. No medical book can tell those dr's how to fix. Only the great physician can do it. So as I seek a merry heart I thought I would share this with you.Proverbs 15:13 A MERRY HEART maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.Proverbs 15:15 All the days of the afflicted [are] evil: but he that is of a MERRY HEART [hath] a continual feast.Proverbs 17:22 A MERRY HEART doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.Ecclesiastes 9:7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a MERRY HEART; for God now accepteth thy works.Remember today:1. give a little smile even if it is force.2. Tell someone you love them3. Look for one small blessing today4. Remember I am here if you need to talk.
