HE\'S FREE!!!!!

I'm going to look at this new found freedom as a positive step into the journey my son will take. Today, at court, the judge released him from probation and from house arrest.  No more probation officer, no more caseworker, no more counselor to come to our home 2x's a week, and no more worries!  Hee-hee.  Well, on that one I'm going to take One Day At A Time and that is how I'm going to "maintain".  He will continue to see his private counselor and to see his new psychiatrist (I think) and, hopefully, he will stay on this new path of wholeness.  He brought his grades up, he has a very nice friend, he's been going to AA on a regular basis and right now - he's lookin' good.   The judge did tell him since he's creeping up on 18 (in July) that IF he should break the law again - this time it definitely would be jail.  I hope it was enough to keep him on this path......
