HE loves me not

so he came home this morning and told me that he just can’t be with me anymore that he had lied about being happy for so long. I told him that I will be ok I just need his promise to not hurt the kids with all of this... we are going to try to be roommates for a while due to our financial issues 

i feel this will be the easiest on the kids has anyone else tried this?
