He is so FULL OF HIMSELF!!!!!!!1
My daughter is starting to show alot of ANGER AND RESENTMENT towards her dad. Unfortunatley he is not here so i'm the one she lashes out at all the time. I know she feels robbed of " Her Time" to be young. She had to drop out of school to help me and Austin make it. She wanted to move out with her friends months ago but I know she stayed so I wouldn't be alone. She knows that I have been struggling to get through all of this and I know she doesn't want me to think that she is leaving me too. I have told her not to let my situation stop her from living her life but I would miss her so much.
Anyway I contacted her father and told him to please take a more active interest in his daughter. The response I got back was UNFREAKIN BELIEVABLE!!! HE SAIDÂ "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET ME BACK?" "IS THIS AN ATTEMPT TO GET ME TO COME HOME?" I said " NO!!!! YOU DON'T DESERVE ME AND YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME ANYMORE"!!! It's about our daughter who has alot of built up Anger and she's exploding at everybody except the ONE PERSON SHE IS REALLY ANGRY AT!!!! How do I get through to her that it is ok to talk, scream, cry do whatever she needs to do infront of her dad so that he knows exactly the damage his stupid choice has caused.
As a mom I feel like a sacrificed one child for another. I have been so worried about Austin because he's a little boy who lost his daddy that I forgot about daddy's little girl. Even though she is 19 she needed us to be her parents and I was hurting so badly that I took her tough attitude as strength. Maybe confiding in her to much about my pain and my loss that I forgot to actknowledge hers. I had a nice sit down with her today because she wants to move out in August and I know she is not ready. It's like pulling teeth to get her to help out a little with food, or cell phone bills ect... She told me that it would be better for me to just have to deal with Austin and one dog. She would take Sofiegirl with her and pay for her vet visits and groomings. My heart is breaking for my Shelby so grown up in some ways, but still a little girl in other ways. Have I totally messed up her life???? Have I not shown her enough strength as a woman to know that sometimes LIFE JUST SUCKS BUT YOU MOVE ON??????

She\'s grieving just like you. Why don\'t you suggest therapy to her. It would be a good way for her to get her feelings out. It helps a lot. I have a 20 year old daughter who\'s having some anxiety about lots of different things including the divorce. Have her give it a shot. There\'s a lot going on in those young girls. (Hugs) - you are doing great. Keep moving forward. Also, you can\'t foster the relationship between him and her. That\'s up to him. Obviously, everthing is about him based on his response to you...so just leave it alone. Let her know you love her, you will be there for her, for anything she needs. Don\'t bother trying to get through to him anymore - it will only hurt you and bring back that pain.
Sorry your daughter is having a tough time, she\'s trying to be grown up and take care of herself and thinks moving out will help you, not realizing you really need her there emotionally. Hopefully she will get some counseling and see that it\'s okay to tell dad she\'s hurt and it\'s okay to show her anger at him. I think she feels she will somehow lose his love if she does this. My daughter is 13 and I know she gets angry at her dad because he makes up excuses (which she thinks is the truth ?) why he\'s not coming to see her today, but she won\'t show him she\'s mad, she just tells him, Oh, okay. Then I get her mellow mood and her snippy remarks, but she\'s really mad at him! So hang in there and maybe suggest going to a counselor together! Hugs to you
