He has his fighting shoes on

We were back up early today and back to CMC in Charlotte. He was a little nervous about getting in the ct scanner so I gave him a .5 Zanax.  That will put me to sleep for a while but Steve is a big man so when we got there he wanted another one, said he could not even tell he had taken the first.  So, he took another one. While we waited  I sat across from him.  He began to look at me with that come on grin if you know what I mean.  I said to myself,  maybe you didn't need that second one.  HEHE!
He did good, actually went to sleep when they did the ct. They let me stay with him while they measured him in the 40 million dollar machine.  I felt so sorry for him,  my big strong husband laying there. I hate this sorry cancer for what it has done to him and for all who suffer with it.  
They will call us next week and tell us when he will start. It will be about a 60 mile trip one way to Charlotte NC. I am just glad that I can drive in the heavy traffic. Two of my sisters won't drive on the interstate must less in the city.  So he is blessed that I can drive him around. LOL  But I am the one blessed to have had so many good years with him.  (although I have wanted to take a rolling pin to his head a few times,  you notice I said wanted to)      
The weather today is 85!!  I can't believe it.  Gonna get some sunshine if I can.  God bless you all, I pray for each of you.
