He Did It Again!

I've been trying to mow my yards for the past 2 weeks.  First, the mower wouldn't start.  I cleaned the spark plug, but that didn't help.  Meanwhile, my landlord hired a guy to cut up some limbs and branches that had fallen in the back yard and mow.  Well, the limbs and branches are still in the card,,,barely cut up.  And, it looked like he used a weedeater to mow the back.  By the time I got a new spark plug, the front needed mowing again and the back was 3 feet tall.  I've gotten in bad shape sitting around the house so it took 2 days to mow the front.  I started in the back, which is twice the size of the front, and have been able to mow only 3 or 4 rows at a time before I get tired.  Well, I was back in the back yard this morning and mowed about 6 lines before I gave up.  As I was putting the mower away, I heard someone yelling at me.  It was my neighbor on the corner with his riding mower saying he wanted to help.  The back was done in just a few minutes.  This is the second time he's done this.  He didn't even ask the first time.  I heard a mower in the front and when I came out, he told me his wife had seen me at the doctor's office that morning and saw I was having trouble walking.  I had knee surgery about a month earlier and was walking with a walker.  Just out of the blue, he decided to mow the yards.  I have found that God is "cagey" and will surprise you when you least expect it.  He's given me caring neighbors that want to help and watch over me.  Kinda nice.  Trust in God and good things happen.

I turned all of my turf into gardens. I can sit and work on weeds and planting things but I can no longer push a mower. Poor mower has not been used in over seven years.

((hugs))

What a nice neighbor! It is neighbors like him which make a real neighborhood, and having neighbors to help and watch over you is very nice.
