He called...
the piece of shit actually had the nerve to call. and the nerve to tell me he was " too busy " to deal with us. but asked how she was. i told him not to worry about it. oh i am/was so angry. i mean, why call?? just stay gone. i told him he was a liar and a freak and a piece of shit, and to stay away from us and dont bother, that he would get the paper work as soon as it was through, and he said, good cause he wasnt doing nothing till after he was back for good from being out to sea. which he wasnt even really gone. i know i shouldnt get mad, or be surprised. but hell. i would rather not hear him. he even tried to complain to me, about how little sleep he had been getting and how i dont understand his situation or his schedule because he wasnt home till 8 and had to be up at 4am and get stuff done in the meantime. like he had been changing diapers and feeding babies. hell, 3-4 hours of straight sleep sounds great. oh i hate him. im a little grumpy today, cause baby been fussy. she has a tummy ache still and i dont know what to do. she isnt crying, but pushing real hard and gruntin constanly and it keeps me awake trying to comfort her. i hope i will get some answers today. i guess there is an child support enforcement agency nearby. i dont know the number, but i know about where it is, i hope they can help me get the ball rolling. everything is automated on the phone and keeps leading me to the wrong place. it will give me peace of mind to have the papers done.

Hey Dracona...take it easy. You can\'t change the fact that he is the babies father. Get him to pay child support, the baby deserves that, at least that. Poor baby...I can remember my Amanda having colic, even though I breast fed her. I remember walking and walking her, new mommies don\'t get much sleep for a while. But take it easy, it doesn\'t help to waste your precious time hating him, get that paper work going. And most of all, enjoy your new baby. Don\'t let anyone else interfere with that. Happy Friday, I hope the baby feels better, and you, too. Love, Robin
Hi, Dracona. Thinking of you and the little one. Hope you have a wonderful weekend - hopefully baby will be feeling better soon. Don\'t let him take away your joy - even if you have a lot of diapers to change, I hear the joy in your voice. Hugs, Deb
Don\'t stress too much over that tosser. Just get the paperwork underway and keep any conversations unemotional, short and to the point. Don\'t waste emotional energy on someone who doesn\'t deserve it.
Colic is a devil...my eldest boy was a month premature and though breastfed, had a little trouble with colic and digestion. I used a little wedge shaped cushion (the kind for supporting pregnant bellies while sleeping) and propped him up for a little while after a feed. A pacifier is good because it helps get their digestive/sucking reflex going and if the colic is really bad, lay her down and very, very, gently take her feet in your hands and do a slow gentle bicycle movement, this helps dislodge any wind pain in their tummy. Baby massage is brilliant, but only start at around 6 weeks of age, there are books (try your local library) and there\'s bound to be something online. I learned a kind of Indian baby massage and it settled us both down. When I was really exhausted I would just sit cross-legged on the bed with my baby in my lap and rock and sing....used to have us both relaxed and off to sleep in no time. Lots of love, light and peace to you both.
