so cute and so true. never looked at it that way until the passed couple of years. to me, feeding strays was right up there with breathing and brushing teeth. a routine thing. if it needs food you feed it. wasn't until the passed couple of years that i started viewing them as furbabies or until last year where i viewed them as friends. they are friends and probably more loyal than human friends (and definitely quieter. lol.)

very cold and windy today. in the 40's. its supposed to be 74 tomorrow. hope it is. february will be in the 60's all month except for a couple of days like today. brrrrr. i still haven't taken out all the winter clothes, and stunned i have to do that here. south florida, its all summer and spring clothes and i prefer it that way -- all you need is a few warm items to get you through december when it IS cold there, especially at night - but ONLY december. in north florida we really have three seasons, huge difference. i have never adapted to the cold of north florida, nor the THREE FALLS we get here. drives me bananas.
still dickering with car stuff. they sent me the forms for the hospital, so i can do that now. they will pay for a rental car. so just a matter of finding something. v called to complain about the kitten. hope its okay now? haven't heard anything.
saw the biggest maine coon i have ever seen, they want a friend for it, but it hisses, even at our biggest cat. their cat is easily 30 pounds, i thought they were kidding. i thought to myself, no, get your kittens in sets of two next time, you waited too long, he's five and has never been around other animals (in his own house). odd people. she has five grown kids and he has one grown kid. the kids were friends and fixed them up. lol. now they have 14 grandkids. wow, lots of noise...they said, no, most of them are still up north. how convenient that they moved to florida as soon as the kids started having kids. lol.
very achey and noticed my foot is also swollen. i called the doctor and he says our brain can tell us one side of the body is in pain, and its actually the other side of the body. kind of like when we are thirsty our brain will think we are hungry, so always drink a glass or two of water first and THEN food.

finally got my x-rays -- didn\'t read it yet, but the doctor said bruises and degeneration but no breaks or bone cancer in the parts that they x-rayed. yay! still have to fill script and go to orthopedist. this is becoming a thing. my whole right side hurts more instead of less. i\'m hoping its the weather.
