Having doubts
Been having doubts lately about my abilities, my future, my worth, and some other things. It doesn't help that this is the holiday season and business wise I am struggling. Black friday was a big bust for me with zero sales. I have been staying up late at night worrying about it at times and at other times, I lose myself by playing stupid things on the computer just so I don't have to think about it.
I have also been pushing myself very hard physically. I have been running almost every day. Today I did 3 miles. Feelings of lonliness seem to be overtaking me.
It's part of life I guess. Hope you all have a great week!

I\'m sorry to hear all this bob. I sure hear you about ups and downs owning your own business. And loneliness. I think you\'re awesome and I bet all your other friends here and elsewhere feel the same way. I hope business picks up again soon and that each day gets a little better. Take care my friend and feel better.
Scott
I hear from friends often the same thoughts that you are having - I have had them at different times. I wonder if we go through a list of doubts once in a while just to appreciate the great feeling when we are 100%. When I start feeling off, I go to our local gathering place that has Expresso, etc. There are people in and out - some sit with their computers or join in conversation. It clears my mind! There is always great music.
Hope you have a great week. Let us know when you have snow.
I have the same problem - I worry constantly about finances, but lately have been able to keep those thoughts to the back of my mind, I just keep telling myself that there is nothing I can do to change things. I hope things get better for you. I think that feelings of loneliness are common at this time of year, hugs
music,,,,,, play the guitar instead of computer games...... love ya!
SSorry you\'re in a low spot, Bob. Maybe an increase in meetings is in order? Others are feeling like you, and sharing the burden can lessen it. Maybe volunteer work, or helping someone else in need can get you out of the funk .
We all get there sometimes - but the running will help. 3 Miles is great. Should increase the endorphins. You\'ll be ok - you always find a way.
Bob, I totally agree with Scott. Get thee to meetings (once a day??) to get over feeling lonely and go out for coffee with whomever is going after the meetings. Ask some people to go. You have an amazing support group available to you if you just reach out, and meetings are great attitude changers. I know. I have 26 yrs. in the program, and my friends in AA have become my chosen family. They make my life so much sweeter and the love and support they give me is priceless. We call ourselves the Posse! By the way, my husband & I just celebrated 15 yrs. together and he celebrated 20 yrs. Guess where we met!
