Having a lazy day today
I don't know why. I am almost all caught up with my work. I went downtown today and did some errands. Shipped out some things I sold, I should have all kinds of energy. Had a nap this afternoon for a few hours. I can't even run for 20 minutes. Something is wrong.
Maybe I am focusing on the negative. I loaned somebody here some money, last spring, was never paid back, I did a special favor and went out of my way for my neighbor and he never said thankyou, I think I am focusing on all the little negative things and they are depressing me. Making me have to work harder to get out of this rut I am in. It's getting harder to bounce back, the older I get, it seems.
On the bright side, All the running I have been doing lately has dropped my blood pressure. My resting pulse is under 60 (if I don't drink coffee, that is) I can remember years ago, before I stopped running the first time, my resting pulse was in the 40's and everytime I went to the doctor, they would check it and think I had something wrong with me and panic. Then I would tell them I am a runner and they would be all happy that I wasn't dying er somethin :)
But I am worn out today. Maybe my body is telling me I need a break to recover. It's not quite dark all the way yet so I may go jog just a short distance. I won't feel so bad that way.

Hugs!

I tried to do at least a mile but figured "what the hell" may as well keep going. It was getting dark but I had a flashlight with me. I did the whole 2 miles but did so at a very slow pace. I ran into my little teenage friend who was taking snow out of her boots. Her dad works for the power company and her and her mom will always say hello when they see me. Very nice people.
Like everyone here....very nice people (except the one who owes me)
Hugs!

it is hard to stop seeing the negatives sometimes. I go through phases like that too. Depression, the time of year and getting out of a routine can all cause you to feel tired. It might be a good idea to visit the doc just to rule out anything else. hugs
I\'d ask the person who you let borrow money to pay you back. I know that cash always makes me happy - for a minute anyway...
Thanks bebu, yea I kinda thought of those too. I have an appointment sometime this month I think, I\'ll have to check. Maybe I have seasonal affective disorder and don\'t know it.. Hugs!
Thankyou KR. Yes I did ask repeatedly and always got an excuse. She supposedly got a settlement of an accident but refused to pay me back nonetheless. Last time I asked, she accused me of threatening her and defriended me so I gave up. I believe in karma and will get it back somewhere down the line if I havent already. I had several little profitable sales recently. Hugs!
I guess you are going to have to chalk it up as a lesson learned. It sounds like this woman is about to get really ugly if you confront her again. Who knows what other false aligations she will make.
I hope you feel better soon.listen to your body and get some extra rest.
Just saw this journal Bob, but I wanted to write to say that also sometimes taking more than 30 min or so to nap can kinda mess up your energy for that day, makes me feel sluggish at times when it happens here. Wish you good luck on the rest. One good rule to follow about loaning money is that if you really can\'t afford to have it never paid back, then definitely don\'t loan out. You can always help them get a loan somewhere else but not of your own money. Sad to say but you know how it goes. Good luck with all Bob :)
