Havent been on here much lately...
So life has been a bit hectic..my grandfather died from colon cancer last week...I am home with my family for a month before I go back to where I go to school...I was diagnosed with Asthma the other month and I also now have High Blood Pressure...grr!! I had my biopsy on my Thyroid done the other week and almost passed out..I HATE that procedure!! Anyway..my results came back..no cancer! Even better news my doctor doesnt want to see me in 6 months but instead in a year!!! Things are looking good! My levels are within range or slightly above/below but so slight that he still doesnt think I need Thyroid meds...I stopped taking birth control pills...I found out I have a Vit D def. and am on a supplement now...Ive been starting to feel better but I still have such anxiety...My mom gave me valium last week to help me sleep..amazing med! I only took one though...I dont want to rely on those type of meds to get through my life...Okay that is pretty much it..Oh today I sat out on the beach and went in the water and felt at peace...it was so amazing...

I\'m sorry to hear about your granfather but, am happy to hear that you are doing better! Hope this continue that way :) Super jealous of the beach, its one of my favorite place to be and I dont go on vacation for another month!!!
I\'ve been diagnosed with several of the same issues: anxiety, depression, hypothyroidism (although not the same as you), (borderline) high blood pressure, I used to use birth control pills and am still working on sleep issues. Funny thing, for me, they were all tied together. Doctors were convinced that I had so many diseases and disorders that have evaporated with the right Vitamin D therapy. Once I got accurate info on Vitamin D Deficiency and the correct treatment for me, I was concerned that the dull diffuse pain I have experienced head to toe wouldn\'t end for many months.
I started Russian Kettlebell training which many women choose for the quantity and quality of results they get with only 10-15 minute workouts 2 times a week. I chose it to help me with my weight and to distract me from the pain until I could restore my blood levels of Vitamin D. I\'m on 50,000 IU once a week and when the labs permit, I\'ll downgrade to a maintenance dose of 5000 IU daily year round. Some people hurt for 6-12 months after their levels are correct as the body learns to chill out again.
When my personal trainer heard about how awful the pain is and how long my mobility and sleep had been affected by it, she offered to teach me a new kind of physical therapy called Z Health and in one treatment my pain, anxiety, blood pressure and sleep were transformed. I already use a CPAP for sleep apnea and wondered why my initial success seemed to have revealed a new problem as the apnea improved: the pain from the Vitamin D Deficiency was affecting my sleep cycles and robbing me of rest. With these amazing easy and gentle maneuvers I learned in a short time my life metamorphosed into one of peace, joy, good sleep, drastically reduced pain and lower resting heart rate and blood pressure.
Then I started swinging the Kettlebell, once the exclusive territory of Russian Special Forces and male power lifters, now the tool of choice to avoid wasting time or money getting a cardiovascular workout and strength training.
After a few weeks of simple low cost help, I\'m a new woman. I hope you will feel better soon. If there is any resource I have or knowledge that could help, don\'t hesitate to ask.
