Have to push myself
I'm feeling anxious today and down, still grieving my son and trying to work through the difficult things. My counselor is good and he pushes me to not avoid the things that cause me pain. I've been working with him the last 3 months as I couldn't do these things without a guide. Facing the last conversation with my son, how my son looked, the horror in my mind about that, I do not want to run from these images the rest of my life. I know counselor is right. I'll go there, to that spot where we last met up, and talk to my son. My stomach is in knots; I know I need to do this. I've been practicing, driving closer and closer to it, parking, talking crying. It's so hard but I know I feel better after. I'm going to go there, soon.

Each step is healing, and every time you heal, another part of the joy of sadness gives you the moment of releasing tears.
Keep working towards the goal, you're doing great!

I did go there today! I was hedging on it .. but the opportunity arose so I went for it. I went to the exact spot we were togetherthe last time. I didn't think I could do it a while ago. I do think I move on more by facing these memories. You're right! Thank you for your comments and support friends!,❤
here's to healing and moving with the moment
I am sure your son is looking upon you and is very proud of his mom.
God Bless
Thank you Bob. I never think of that. It feels good to think he's aware of my struggles. Thanks
