HAPPY SUPER COOKING WEDNESDAY!!! :) oh my!!! :) oh boy!!! :) THANKSGIVING TIME!!! :) blueberry iced coffee CHEERS!!! on this sweet spirit, wholesome, and wonderful wednesday! :) it's a day of cooking, preparing for Thanksgiving, and also a spirited post office adventure this morning! :) it went so very well!!! and we had some sweet social interaction with the worker there :) awww! :) i am smiling and smiling! :) i am so happy, our adventure this week, went so much better, than last week! :) The worker was very nice to us! :) awww! :) We mailed a treasures package, and a nice new letter :) i'm so excited, and very happy about the items we mailed :) It's my annual, COOKING day, before Thanksgiving! :) Lots of preparations, as we all are gearing up, for Thanksgiving :) i set up, and decorated our kitchen today, with a beautiful glowing Happy Thanksgiving theme! :) our wonderful cards, gifts, decorations, treasures, all lighting up our kitchen, with wonderful spirit of the season :) i cooked, and prepared, 2 batches of homemade, stuffing with sausage and cornbread :) mmm mmm! :) it's one of our favorite Thanksgiving foods! :) i had so much fun cooking, and baking! :) i love getting the kitchen cozy warm, cooking, and baking :) i took lots and lots of pictures to share with everyone :) i've been making this nice stuffing since 2004 :) We love the recipe :) my mom, Lisa, Alyssa, and i went to dunkin donuts this morning, we go tsome nice treats :) i treated myself to a nice blueberry iced coffee :) i also have put on episodes of ghost hunters today :) Holly and i are going to watch ghost hunters tonight :) She went to her mom's home today, they did some cooking for Thanksgiving :) We want to take this time, to wish you and your family's, a very happy, and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday :) We're thinking of you all, and we're with eachother in spirit :) We're going to my sister Jenn's home tomorrow, for Thanksgiving dinner :) We're also going to watch the parades, football, and enjoying all kinds of yummy desserts :)Thank you all, for making this very special time of the year, so much fun, and very memorable for us :) We're very thankful, and blessed to have you all in our lives :) We're very happy and excited! :) Have a very happy Thanksgiving Everyone! :) We wish you all, the most beautiful joys of the holiday, and many cherished memories being made :) WE LOVE YOU!!! :)

my family and i hope everyone is doing well, keeping warm, and enjoying a wonderful time, getting ready for Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow :) We have some snow in our forecast, it's expected to begin to snow, later on this evening. it's a perfect day, to do some cooking, baking, and getting ready for all of those delicious Thanksgiving feasts, foods, and desserts tomorrow :) i sure am ready, to dig into the stuffing, and of course, that pumpkin pie! :) awww! :) i'm smiling and smiling, and enjoying a sweet, blueberry iced coffee! :) CHEERS!!! :) we had a big adventure this early morning :) We drove Taylynn to School, then took the highway route to the post office, and then went to dunkin donuts :) We had some items to mail today, including a happy birthday treasures package for our dear friend Maria (Love4You), and also a new letter i wrote for a friend :) it was raining here this morning, a cold rain, felt like it was gonna turn to sleet/ice, and eventually snow. my sister Lisa drove :) We drove Taylynn to school first, and then went to the post office :) Taylynn was very excited, as her and her classmates are having a special Thanksgiving meal together at school today :) the kids had a half day of school, and now have 4 days off from school, for Thanksgiving holiday weekend :)
Our Post office adventure, and experience went really well :) last week, it was a bit rough, and off-balance experience, but today went so nicely :) the worker was very nice to us :) She even mentioned about last week, and apologized for the overcharge. awww! my mom and i said, "it's fine, and smiled" :) the worker was very polite to us, and it really made the experience go so nicely :) i'm so thankful, it went well :) We love going to the post office, we enjoy the social interaction with the workers there :) i was already thinking also, about how i want to put together a special Christmas stocking with treats/gifts, to give to the post office workers, in december, as a special thank you to them, for the wonderful service they provide all year :) it'll be so nice, and very special to be able to do this : )The experience went great today, at the post office :) We mailed a treasures package, and a letter :) i'm very excited, and happy about the items we mailed :) i also want to do some more writing, cards, and notes, over the course of the week, to mail next week :) next wednesday, we'll be mailing a happy birthday treasures package to our dear friend Cj (ddeadred) :) i'm also so excited about writing Christmas cards/postcards :) We'll be saddling up our sleigh, and jingle belling our way to the post office, many times in December, for the holiday season :) my mom and i thanked the post office worker, and we wished eachother a happy Thanksgiving :) We also got a free stamps themed book, and a southeastern, Connecticut post/paper :) it's awesome! :) my mom, Lisa, Alyssa, and i went to dunkin donuts, after the post office, and got some treats, and them made our journey home :) it was so nice, going out this early morning, and then gearing up, for some Thanksgiving cooking! :)
HOMEMADE STUFFING, WITH SAUSAGE AND CORNBREAD! :) it's COOKING TIME!!! :) COOKING DAY!!! :) WOOT!!! :) awww! :) angel friends, this is so very special to me, and very heart warming :) This is a very special joy, that i look forward too each year, contributing to our family Thanksgiving dinner :) Since 2004, i've been making a really nice, homemade stuffing recipe, that i got while watching the Emeril cooking show on the food network :) Everyone loves the stuffing, and always asks me to make more each year :) in recent years, i've been making double batches of the stuffing, for everyone :) i put lots of love, spirit, and energy into the cooking, baking, preparing the stuffing, for the nice Thanksgiving dinner :) we're going to my sister Jenn's home tomorrow, and bringing 1 of the batches of stuffing, and will have 1 batch of stuffing, to enjoy here at home too, for dinner time, and throughout the rest of the week :) There's just something so very cozy warm, and heart warming, about getting the kitchen nice and cozy warm, cooking ,baking, and Thanksgiving time, with family and friends :) i love to share with everyone here in my journal, the day before Thanksgiving each year, about the cooking, and baking of the stuffing, which is so delicious, i can't wait to dig into the stuffing tomorrow, with some gravy! :) mmm mmm! :) it's gonna be awesome!!! :)
i feel so inspired, and very spirited, to join many family and friends, on this day, to cook, prepare foods, for Thanksgiving :) many friends have been mentioning about how they're doing cooking, and baking today, in preparations, for tomorrow's big day, Thanksgiving :) my grandma's cooking today, Jenn's doing some cooking too, and also my mom is cooking a bit also :) it's so much fun, joining in, and the excitement, of getting ready for Thanksgiving holiday :) To celebrate this WONDERFUL COOKING DAY, today, i gathered up all of our wonderful baking supplies, my apron, our kitchen towels, oven mits, and our beautifully heart-felt, and lovely, happy Thanksgiving cards, decorations, and ventured out into our kitchen, for a very special, COOKING/BAKING DAY! :) around late morning, after i had lunch, i then got ready, to make the homemade stuffing, with sausage, and cornbread :) it felt great, decorating our kitchen, and i took lots of pictures to share :) a very special thank you, for my mom, dad, and sister Lisa, who have been going shopping the past week, and picking up baking and cooking supplies, for the homemade stuffing :) it's a really nice, delicious recipe :) here's the ingredients, to the homemade stuffing recipe :)
-STUFFING BREAD (i crumble the stuffing bread into a larger bowl)
-CORNBREAD (i bake 2 pans of cornbread for the double batch of stuffing, i also crumble the cornbread, to add with the crumbled stuffing bread)
-SAUSAGE
-CELERY
-BELL PEPPER
-ONION
-CHICKEN BROTH
-2 EGGS (for double batch of stuffing)
i gathered all of the ingredients :) the first thing i love to do, is to get the cornbread baking nicely in the oven :) that's one of the 1st steps. :) i then cooked the sausage, in the frying pan/skilling :) the sausage cooks nicely. :) in the recipe, you can drain the sausage grease, or can add the sausage grease into the stuffing, which adds extra flavor to the stuffing :) Draining the grease, does make the stuffing a bit healthier :) i added the sausage grease in :) i love that sweet scent in the kitchen, of cornbread baking, and sausage cooking :) i was sipping my blueberry i ced coffee, and thinking of everyone :) i was taking pictures, of the cooking and baking adventure, to share with everyone in my journal today :) my mom and dad were hanging out with me in the kitchen today, it was great! :)
After the cornbread was done baking, and the sausage was finished cooking :) i crumbled the stuffing bread, and cornbread together into a bowl :) i made double batch this year, so it was a big bowl i used, to make the stuffing in :) i kept the sausage in the skillet :) it was then time, to prepare, the vegetables, and chicken broth :) We got 2 nice cans of chicken broth :) i poured the broth into a nice cooking pot, and i then sliced the celery, bell pepper, and the onion, and put the vegetables into the cooking pot :) the vegetables simmer cook, in the chicken broth :) it's so nice :) i was in all of my glory, cooking, baking, and enjoying this sweet experience, knowing my family and i are going to enjoy the stuffing :)
i added the sausage into the cornbread/stuffing bread, and once the vegetables/broth had finished cooking, i then poured it into the big bowl, and added in, 2 eggs :)i then super stirred the stuffing mix :) after stirring, i then greased 2 nice baking pans, and i put the stuffing into each pan :) i put the stuffing into the oven, with aluminum foil covering the stuffing, i baked the stuffing for a little while, and tomorrow, we'll bake the stuffing for about 30 minutes in the oven :) i had so much fun today, making the stuffing :) we're gonna bring 1 pan of the stuffing to my sister Jenn's home tomorrow :) the stuffing is so delicious, yummy, and the cornbread/sausage adds a nice sweet taste, to the stuffing :) it's gonna be awesome tomorrow, seeing the stuffing on the Thanksgiving table, for Thanksgiving holiday :) i'm smiling and smiling! :) i got lots and lots of pictures to share, from the cooking, and baking i did today :) Thank you all for sharing your cooking, and baking with us, and for joining me in the kitchen today :) as it's a snowy/icy rainy day, it's a perfect day, to get the kitchen cozy warm, doing some cooking, and baking :) Happy Thanksgiving smiles! :)

Our Turkey Named Michigan! :) Our dear, and lovely friends Deb (Stardust), Brz, Lanie, and their family sent us this beautiful Thanksgiving turkey, in 2007 :) we didn't have any Thanksgiving decorations,and i remember that year, we went to walmart, and couldn't find any Thanksgiving decorations. i remember writing a journal, and not too long after that, we recieved a special package in the mail, from our dear, and lovely friends Deb and her family :) They sent us, this beautiful turkey decorative :) it touched our hearts, in many beautiful ways :) Their kindness, generousity, beautiful friendship shared :) i decided to name our turkey decorative, Michigan, in honor of Deb and her family, who live in Michigan :) our turkey decorative, always has a special place on our Thanksgiving table, and Thanksgiving traditions, every year :) Happy Thanksgiving smiles :)
