hateful landlord vs stupid me
Stupid me shoveled the sidewalk where I live this morning-----with hateful landlord showing up after 3 in afternoon to call me crazy.
"People have a life; they play music----they're not a recluse like you, living in your own world."
Landlord just couldn't part, after 10 years, peacefully---he had to start calling me crazy.
Plus, insult to injury: he had the friend of the downstairs loud drunken idiot in my apt----for him tomorrow to fix the ruined ceiling!
For, seemingly the millionth time, I told somebody (the landlord): "Why cant the downstairs idiot play his music in the daytime...?
landlord put insulation in downstairs ceiling, and fixing ceiling tomorrow----cause he thinks I'm gonna change my mind; on the first visit he even said "in case you decide to stay." When he finds out, in next few days, that I signed a lease somewhere else, he is going to make my life hell.
I called new place; gonna be moving in a week earlier than planned; December 21----because of this.
An hour ago I went to police station for copy of noise complaint I made; was told either have to get a supeona!, or "right to know", form.
I even called 911, not for an emergency, but to see if I could get a policeman to show up when the landlord shows up---cause the cards are stacked against me, if they would accuse me of anything.

It\'s good you\'re getting the ceiling fixed. Maybe landlord isn\'t going to give you a hard time. And he\'d have to fix the ceiling anyway whether you stay or go. Hopefully it will work out and be peaceful between you the remainder of days you have there.
I agree about the music. It\'s such a pain. Why the hell people don\'t wear headphones at night time I don\'t know.
That\'s what I did when I lived close to neighbor with a wall between us or when I was in an apartment.
I\'m hoping it will all work out ok and there won\'t be any drama. you\'ve only got a week or so to go.
Landlord may say stuff and have an attitude cuz he\'s pissed you\'re leaving perhaps but as long as he doesn\'t do anything to you It will be ok and I know you can handle it.

nobody plays loud rock music, every night, around 10 at night sober---I think that is the main problem with downstairs tenant, along with whoever and how many people he has living with him half the time.
And, I\'m starting to think the landlord gets high with the loud tenant.
