Hate New Year!

So AF came on the 31st of December, so we get to start a new year with something very exciting! I hate new year generally, since we all put so much pressure on ourselves to have some ridiculous raucous night out and inevitably its never that good!
 But in recent years New Year is even more annoying, I hate reading all these annoying facebook statuses about what a wonderful year its been when frankly its been a bit shit in my opinion, in fact ever since this journey to make a baby started its been a bit crap.  I am always dying to write my own status saying just that but I  know no one wants to hear it. I'm not really one for wallowing in my own misery I tend to be a bit of a "chin up" and get on with it type and realise there is always so many worse off than me, but New Year just seems to encourage you to reflect on the last year and with this IVF challenge hanging over me (not to mention the really crappy year at work I've had) I cant seem to think of anything positive to write!!
One of the status's I've read a lot this year is the one from new mums, which I really have no right to be annoyed about but still really pisses me off, the ones where they say how blessed they feel to have their babies this year and how no love will ever equal the love you have for your own child.....grrrr!! All in all I just try to ignore the whole New Year bullshit!!
Now my period is here I am taking 3 estrodiol tablets a day and have a baseline ultrasound on the 7th to check my lining! I cant wait because I have worked all Christmas, (knowing I would potentially need some time off for my FET) I have however managed to have the weekend before new year and the 1st and second off and now I have this appointment it just breaks things up nicely since I really cant stand being at work.   \Cant wait to DO THIS!!!!
