Day 4 of TX of Harvoni. Nasue, headache, muscle pain. Called Dr. for advice as was told there was nothing they could do. Gotta love it! I was told if I have any combursome side effects to call and they would see what they could do. Waster of time. Pharmacutical Co. and Doctors are mostly in it for the $$$$$$$$$$l
I did watch a program on this past Sunday's 60 minutes where these two eye doctors were in a 3rd world country curing blindness at $20 per eye due to cataracks. Costs $2000+ here in the states. Just goes to show you the big rip off is real folks. If you get a chance to look, google eye doctors in 3rd world countries. They are actually nominated right now for 1 million $ for the hospital they have started there. True angels on earth. I love these guys because they get it.
It doesn't matter how much $$ or material things you have in life. What matters is if you have done anything to Love Your Neighbor.

never heard of this before...seems like your docs are a royal pain you know where! Unreal cost!!! Gilead's patient assistance program. if you get scuffed by insurance co.

Hey! I had more symptoms than most. I get it. I think it depends on your cirrhosis level. I'm so glad you are doing tx! Just remember, it isnt forever, you will get through it. Start looking forward to having your whole life change!! Your liver will start regenerating once you do away with what has been killing it. It does take awhile to measure any real change in liver symptoms. Your lab work will begin to look better than it has in years. I wont lie, it took at least 2 years and more varices bleeding before I could start telling the difference. Some people benefit immediately. I was sick and depressed for so long, my challenge these days is to live again...to start living like I am no longer sick. I'm so happy for you!
