The confluence of the Wabash and Ohio Rivers sits in a jag in the date/time line. The line between Eastern Time and Central Time follows the politically straight line between Indiana and Illinois until some seemingly arbitrary spot just north of here. It isnae a typical anxious dot I would have at a camp site, but the need to pick up Hubs at the Alton train station early Sunday morning adds the dot. Nay worth a worry. There is plenty of time to work out that logistic. All in due time.
The waves of anxiety seem to have regained some strength this morning but seem to be staying well defined. E.g. The anxiety wave surrounding the question, “What time is it?” resolved when I compared the clock on my dumb phone to the clock on Boy Toy’s dashboard. Once I determined that my dumb phone had reset to Central Time, the anxiety dissipated without obsessive tendrils to other lines connected to the time question and/or the 37 year relationship attached to the dude who I am picking up. Hm-m-m-m. . . Do I need a pick up line?
This morning finds me meditating anew on the nature of anxiety. Well. . . Keeping it personal. . . I donae have access to anyone else’s anxiety data. I donae believe I have many clues I can trust on the natural design of anxiety. Yes, I do believe anxiety is a natural design. I believe it is the element which facilitates our planning functions, allowing the coordination of things like the very meet-up which is currently coming together here at this camp site today.
So, where does beneficial anxiety become an Anxiety Disorder? Dunno. My intellectual awareness of anxiety began when my personal anxiety was unquestionably on the disorder side of the divide. Understanding its nature from the full disorder might be comparable to learning the nature of elephants during a stampede. For now, I believe containment is the best I can hope for. For today, at least. Who knows what the morrow may bring.

Wow! What a week it has been! The entire time-line is a fuzzy blurr for me right now. Gots me a passle of sorting to do! Small steps, big faith and lots of prayer.
Sis and her twin granddaughters made it to the Harmonie camp site as hoped. The hubs pick up at Alton train station went off without a hitch. After another day or three at the camp site, the five of us set out for the HDSA convention neighborhood for a couple of days of exploring the Chicago metroplex before the convention. The convention was still going when Sis, the twins and I rode the commuter train to Chicago's Union Station to see Hubs off at the Texas Eagle boarding gate. Sis and I booked another night at the hotel so we could see him off.
The brain feels like it is on over-load. It has been a great week. Greater than my tired brain can process tonight. Sleep time.
You have had quite the week! WOW! Glad everything is going well. Time to rest and relax...
Rest yourself, Arfie. I had a kerfuffle week, much rest to you.
