Harleys and life in general
I bought a new bedroom set for me and Al.. It is absolutely gorgeous and huge.. Got a king size.. Never had one before in king size. We replaced the carpet in the bedroom and down the hall and then put carpet in the two rooms in Als rental so he can get it rented out. I figured while we were at it, I had the carpet replaced in my front room and the stairs and had the frontroom and kitchen painted.. It looks so much better. Dakota picked out such an awesome color..*sensuous sand*. They painted my railings and wood work a pretty cream color and it really adds to the room. When I get my new mattresses I will give Dakota the other queen mattress from mine and Als room. Its always so much fun to get new things and now that Dakota is older (and interested in girls.. lol) I know he will take care of things better Al and I went on the Harley for a ride with the people that works with Al at Komatsu and some customers. There were 100 bikes. We went for about an 8 hour ride. I love to ride on the bike but I do tend to have anxiety attacks and have to convince myself that we are not going to die. I think the older I get the worse it is worrying about wrecking on that bike.Als bike is beautiful.. He drives a road king and had a special paint job done on it.. There is a guy here named Dan Langstrom and he is becoming pretty famous for his artwork on bikes and cars. Al told him he wanted the "headless horseman". Dan started drawing up cartoon characters and Al said no.. I want something that looks real. Dan asked him if he could just go crazy on it and do it the way he thought would be awesome so Al let him. Its got the headless horseman on this gorgeous horse that has flared nostrils and steam coming out his nose. Theres a cemetary with a buzzard sitting on one of the headstones. There are heads that have been cut off by the horseman all over the gas tank and back fender. There are two pics of the headless horseman one up close on the front fender and one in the distance on the gas tank. All the clouds have skulls his in them. There is a bull with flared nostrils and wet stuff coming out of his nose like steam. The horse and bull both have red fiery eyes.. Everyone who looks at his bike goes nuts over the paint job. You could look at it for hours and never find all the hidden things in it.. Al has a cabin that he shares ownership with four other people and its our turn to go this weekend. We take up the four wheelers and it is always a blast. They have their own pond with fish and we go out and catch them and throw them back. Their getting pretty big.. Last year we used Als granddaughters Barbie pole and had a contest to see how many fish we could catch on it.. It was so much fun. We have a canoe and my son ryan takes his albino boxer out in it and then throws him in and makes him swim back to shore.. Hilarious watching him.. It can tend to get boring sometimes especially with depression so I usually go for walks or read also..Anyway thats about it.. Still sober..... This is my story and Im sticking with it.. I love all you guys.. You mean so much to me.. You will never know how much you help me to not be depressed. It seems like this last year has been a bit easier on me because of you guys. It has really helped me with my drinking as I dont desire it as much anymore.. Thank you so much.. Stay at peace and feel well. I hate when my friends are down... Love ya.. Y'Vonne
