The Netgear wireless range extenders mainly comes in two designs: designed to sit on shelf and designed to mount directly on a power outlet. The both designs offers great performance that we could expect from a wireless range extender. The antennas could be internal or external depending upon the model of the Netgear extender. We could get the external antennas from the large Netgear extender which are solely designed to increase the performance of Wi-Fi network. We do also have some led indicator at the front which notifies us about the signal strength at that particular location, where it would be placed at that time.
