Hard to smile...

You've got me all alone waiting right here by the phone for you to call me just to hear your voice tone. I'm out on the town trying to meet some other girls, but I've always got you on my mind. Trying to have a good time, but it gets hard sometimes because there is no one like you. I try my best, but I cannot shake these feelings you got me through. All I keep picturing is the color of your eyes, and the way you make me smile I seriously haven't felt that in a while... I'm gunna remember you...are you going to remember me? I saw you with your boyfriend, and I must confess. This is so hard to walk away :'( I cannot explain these feelings I think about them every day even when we've both moved on it's just so hard to walk away. I'm just living day to day hoping maybe one day you'll change your mind.
What makes him so much better than me? What makes him everything I can't be? What makes him every dream & fantasy...because I remember when it was me.
