Hard Rock Casino is coming to Rockford

State gambling regulators choosing between Wynn Resort's planned casino in Everett and Mohegan Sun's planned casino in Revere are considering imposing financial and design conditions as each vies for the lone Boston-area casino license.most popular casinos
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission on Wednesday began debating which if any of the recommendations they will adopt. They are expected to award the casino license as soon as Friday.
Among the conditions it is weighing for Wynn is a redesign of its 27-story hotel tower's exterior as well as commitments to pay more toward transit improvements in traffic-clogged Sullivan Square, in nearby Boston.
For Mohegan Sun, the commission is considering requiring the Connecticut-based company put up $100 million more of its own equity.
The commission is charged with licensing up to three resort casinos and one slot parlor.
