hard days
HI We are home. We drove 900 miles in the last 2 days. I am not going to school today. Tomorrow is my last day with students and they we have workshop on Friday. I just feel I need to go for the last day with my students. It is going to be hard but I have a great staff so if I need to leave I will. My nephew had touched so many lives by the number of people that came for the prayer service, funeral, and burial. Over 500 at the funeral-It breaks my heart to see my twin sis in so much pain. She is able to smile at times when she thinks of all the happy times she had with him. He was a momma's boy her called her many times a day. He never called her mom- it was Sugar!I will be going back there next week for a few days. I know I need to now concentrate on Krisitn's graduation and make it as happy as can be.I have great friends who have offered to help with whatever I need. Her Open House is Sunday, May 31. Her teachers have exempted her from all finals. That was so nice of them- I don't think she could have concentrated on them. She had all A's and one B so that helped with their decision. Beth, Kris, and cousin, Heidi got up at the prayer service and shared a story about Jordan. I was so proud of them! We still ask -Why? and I guess we will never know. The only sign of depression was he could not sleep at nite- He would stay up all night. Take care everyone!Rynette Thanks for all the prayers- I have felt them!

Thanks for sharing....that\'s wonderful they exempted her from finals....Have a wonderful graduation!
I will keep oyour family in my prayers.
I know how hard it was for the girls to share a story at the service....I\'m sure you were so proud.
It so hard to know with teens. We\'ll never know \"why\" these things happen, but remember you always did the best you could, & so did his parents.
Oh dear friend, you must be so exhausted, and sad about this whole situation, knowing that now your twin sister, falls alone to deal with this sad, sad thing that she is now going through, without the relatives around, ect.... Yes do visit her, she needs you now more than ever, thank God school will be over for you, it will be much easier for her to go out there and visit her.
I have been going through some depression with my teen daughter, see my journal entry.
It is finally getting under control, but just to go through the motions, the right doctors, and getting appointment, evaluated it took over a month.
I am watching my daughter closely, since she was pulled out of school due to her illness, she as been with me 24/7, and we got to talk about things that was bothering her, ect... again see journal entry.
I hope you feel better soon my friend.
In the meantime, take it one day at the time.
Love & Respect, Mckenzie
One day at the time.
Wow over 500 people at the funeral...that really does say a lot! so so many will miss him dearly. I am proud of the girls getting up and telling a story as that\'s sometimes so difficult to do. I am glad your trip went safely and that you are attending the last day of school. I hope you can manage a smile or two like your sister did.
I am hurting today...it\'s been an awful day. I can no smile too easily. Oh well...I shant bother you with that crap.
Just wanted to let you know that I am glad you wrote in your journal and kept us all informed on how things are going. Remember always that we here Love you and are praying for you and yours.
