Hard day

Today is the seventh months since I lost my son to suicide and although in some ways it seems like a lot longer in other ways it seems like just the other day.  This week has been real hard on his wife and I worry about her and hope God watches over her and helps her through these tough times.  There are times when I am fine but other times I still feel like a big piece has been torn out of my body and it will never fill in.  Things are better than they were a few months ago but there are still times I melt into a funk.  With it being Easter this weekk-end I have a real blessing knowing that some day I will see him again and be able to tell him how much I loved and missed him.  I hope my wife and daughter are able to feel better this week-end knowing that also.

How well you have stated my very feelings.....but I am several months ahead of you and I can tell you for certain that the intensity of this pain lessens as time goes by and at any time it can hit like a sledge hammer without warning. I guess for those of us who have loved and lost...it will be this way until the day when we are reunited with our loved ones. I am so looking forward to it. Easter is that wonderful reminder that it WILL happen for those of us who believe. Keep the faith. My heart is with you.....In Christ, dale...brandon\'s mom

I am so very, very sorry for the loss of your beloved son Lance. As Christians it is our belief that we will see our boys again, but it is so so hard to live without them. Take care. love & peace to you & your family, Linda
