This morning, we had an awesome new gameday, rising and shining :) it's the day, of the day! :) Wildcard weekend, and Washington football team gameday! :) all throughout the week, i've been mentioning to Holly, the countdown to the big gameday, and would say, "4 days until the day of the day, and then 3, 2, 1, and this morning, i said, "happy day, of the day! Washington gameday!!!" :) sharing lots of smiles, and spirited cheer! :) You can feel the excitement, and spirited energy in the air :) This morning, i was up early, and one of the first things on my mind was, "it's gameday, wildcard playoffs!" :) i'm smiling and so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) i enjoyed some nice time here on DS this morning, writing to friends as the new day was blossoming ,and also checked out the Washington football team's twitter page, and also the warpath, fan forums :) There's lots of fan rallys going on :) Keeping up to date with all of the gameday news, coverage, and latest updates :) wishing all teams, a healthy playoffs season :) 14 teams continuing their incredible journey's, that began last september :) 1 team is gonna win the superbowl, and i'm so happy and thrilled, my Washington team is in the "Big dance" with a chance of superbowl glory :) i'm extremely proud of them, and so very honored to cheer them on :) it's very special, making the playoffs :) This is Washington's first playoffs game since 2015 :) since 2012, Washington has won the NFC east division title 3 times :) with winning the division, they get to host tonight's playoff game vs the Bucs :)

Wildcard Breakfast, and a spirited morning to blossom into the big football weekend :) i enjoyed a nice nature walk this morning, i gathered a big bowl of goodies, gameday bowl today! :) i put lots of goodies outside, for our nature friends, so that they could celebrate in the cheer of wildcard weekend :) i saw all kinds of birds, including sparrows, starlings, crows, bluejays :) it was absolutely WILD!! out there, and so cool, with it being Wildcard weekend, our nature friends are enjoying a feast! :) it's very cold outside here this morning, i was bundled up for my nature walk :) i'm so happy our nature friends are enjoying the goodies :) We had a special wildcard breakfast today too :) With the spirit of the big games, and weekend, we had wildcard breakfast :) Holly and i each got, iced coffees from mcdonalds, she got hazelnut, and i got a vanilla iced coffee :) We enjoyed our breakfast, we have our gameday party table all set up and decorated :) it looks so neat, and is very nice to see :) football is our favorite sport, and we love cheering for the Washington football team :) Holly has adopted the team, as her favorite, and we also love to cheer for the Ravens too, and friends football teams also :) We have lots of friends, who have favorite teams, it's so much fun sharing in the excitement of cheering on our teams, discussing the games, and celebrating in victories :)

During the early morning, we were all hanging out :) i wrote a new letter, and enjoying time here on DS, writing to friends :) my mom baked homemade lasagna!!! :) oh yeah!!! :) my favorite!!! :) my mom began to get ready to make the lasagna this morning, for all of the big games :) it's a really special treat, when my mom bakes lasagna :) A very special shoutout, and thank you for my mom :) She loves to make lasagna for us all :) we thanked my mom and looked forward to having our first slices of lasagna when the first playoff game began :) We put finishing touches on our gameday table decorations, and got ready for an awesome 1st gameday party of the day :)

FOOTBALL TIME!!! :) We got our trays, and had some lasagna, snacks, and our drinks :) We tuned into the first playoff game, Bills vs Colts, an AFC battle! :) We were watching the game :) one of the most exciting things about the playoffs, is its a win and advance tournament, so each play is very big :) As the afternoon was going on, we continued to enjoy some foods, snacks, drinks, and checking in on the latest football news :) my Washington team getting ready for their big game tonight vs the Bucs :) i'm so happy and excited about my Washington wildcard playoffs pin that's going to be arriving soon :) i'm continuing to browse for more pin, collectibles :) i wrote to the ebay seller, that i ordered the pin from ,to ask them if they are going to have a Washington football team NFC East Champs pin, and the seller said, there's a chance they will have the pin, and that monday is their new release day, for collectibles :) it's gonna be awesome to see if they have the pin, i'd love to buy one :) i've got my shelves all decorated with my team collectibles, and also around our table here :) my shelves are like a shrine, to the team, with all kinds of collectibles displayed :) Congrats to the Buffalo Bills, on their win this afternoon :) it was a thrilling 1st game of wildcard weekend! :)

my Washington football Team Fan Story! :) This is my 30th year/season of being a Washington football team fan (formally the Redskins), i became a fan when i was 10 years old, back in 1991 :) i've watched football, since i was 8 years old, superbowl 24 was my first ever football game :) i also saw superbowl 25 :) during the 1991 season ,i began to follow a team, named the Washington Redskins :) i love the burgundy and gold colors, and i remember checking the football news, scores, games, and also the sports page, seeing the standings :) i loved the style of play, from the team :) i began to follow the team, seeing how they were doing, Mark Rypen, our QB, Art Monk, Ricky Sanders, Gary Clark, our recievers, and our defense :) wow! :) i became a fan :) that season, Washington made the playoffs, and they won vs the Falcons, vs the Lions, and then won Superbowl 26 vs the Bills :) i watched that game on tv, on CBS channel :) with Pat Summerall, and John Madden calling the game :) i remember being amazed, by what i said, this team, which i followed through the season, and they were winning 31-0 at one point in the biggest game, the superbowl :) they won, 37-24, and were superbowl 26 champions :)

i bought my first Washington football team hat, at the Caldoor's store in Waterford, CT :) i still have the hat, to this day :) i remember wearing the hat, everywhere i went, and also while playing football with my friends outside :) we'd pretend we were NFL stars, and would have so much fun playing football for hours and hours, we use too have our own superbowls, playing football :) my mom and dad took me to the sports shack, sports store in the Norwichtown mall, and bought a Superbowl 26 Champions team hat for me :) i began to collect more and more Washington football team (Redskins) collectibles over the years, hats, pins, shirts, and lots more :) in the 1990's, we use too go to the malls around here, and in Rhode Island, ct, to find Washington team collectibles :) i remember my parents bought a cool mini helmet for me :) i also collected the gumball machine helmets at the stores, that were a quarter, and i remember i got all of the teams, except for Washington, and finally got the Washington team mini helmet at the better value store across town, in the gumball machine :) i'm a passionate fan, and i cheer them on ,through rough seasons, and good seasons :) There's an amazing spirit soaring feeling, about team pride, sticking with them through ups, downs, losses, wins, and cheering and cheering for the fullest each game, and season :) So many special memories over the years, of being a fan :) i love sharing here on DS, about how i'm a fan of Washington football team :) They're my team, and i love this team very much :) it's a great feeling, being a fan :) sticking by the team when they lose, and when they win, it feels like us fans win :) burgundy and gold for life :) i love being a fan :)

This season, my Washington football team has been through a lot, and are an inspirational story :) they changed their team name, before the season, they hired a new coach Ron, Rivera, who coached the Panthers to the superbowl in 2015. Coach Rivera battled cancer earlier in the season ,and continued to coach the team :) Alex Smith, who had one of the most devastating injuries in a game in 2018, had 17 surgeries, and made an amazing comeback, he began the season as our 3rd strong quarterback, we were 1-5, when our coach made a QB chance, to Kyle Allen, and during a game, QB Allen broke his ankle, and then Alex Smith took over the team, his comeback :) he lead Washington to a 5-1 record when he's the starter, and helped them win the NFC East division title :) it's an amazing story, very inspirational :) i'm so very proud of my Washington football team, and i'm so very happy and excited for them, making this amazing achievement, as a team :) our defense, our offense, all growing together, and our leaders, Coach Rivera, and QB Alex Smith :) they're building something very special :) we believe in them, we feel very confident in them tonight, and are so very proud to cheer them on :) Go Washington football Team! :) HAIL VICTORY!!! :)
