Happy Weekend

Its a cloudy day here, but at least the work is all done, and we can relax for a day.I am going to my meeting tonight and will recieve my 6 month token. yay!  Its hard to believe how miserable I was when I was drinking,(but didnt always realize it) I am so much happier now. Sometimes I drank to feel happy.....and yet, it took all my happiness away from me. It was hard to get up the guts to go to an A.A. meeting. but this site gave me that courage and walking in there was like going home again. I felt very welcome. I still only make it to one meeting a week, but I have lots of A.A. material to read on the other days. And doing the steps is the important thing to me. Ready for step five now, but havent found anyone to do it with. I heard about a nun downtown that does them, so I shall make an appointment with her as soon as the car is insured, shouldnt be long now.I run into fellow A.A. members every time I go downtown, its really quite nice. Making sober friends is nice. My daughter worked on my computer yesterday, and it is running faster, so thanx for that Stormy. lol.I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, clouds or not.
