Happy Thanksgiving
Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I'm feeling particularly grateful this year, so I'm going to take a few minutes and list some of the reasons why. 1. I have a wonderful family that loves and supports me. Even when I'm feeling unloveable, I can always count on my family. 2. I have a great job, and even got sort of a promotion today. The people I work with are good people, and very understanding of all my medical problems. 3. I have a lazy, neurotic, obnoxious cat named Norman that I love dearly. I love him so much because he entertains me and makes me laugh all the time. Sometimes he looks at me with those big green eyes and I swear he's thinking "I love you mama". 4. My MS is relatively stable, no major physical problems. I have a lot of cognitive issues, and insomnia out the ying yang, but I can still get around without the use of assistive devices. 5. I found a new neurologist, after being with the old one for 16 years. This new one seems to be more "up to date" with things, and he actually listened to me Monday. He also has 2 PA-C's that I can see, so he's much more accessible. I could go on all afternoon about all the things I have to be thankful for, but I gotta go sling some turkeys around. My sissy and bro-in-law always smoke about 20-25 turkeys for Thanksgiving, and I get to help this year. So yeah, I'm grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them too. Life is good. I love you all. Happy Thanksgiving.
