Happy sweet treats tuesday!!! MARCH Winterstorm! oh my! it's wintery out there today! my family and i hope everyone is doing ok, keeping warm, and safe. We're doing alright, and riding out the storm here at home. it began to get blusterly windy and snowy this morning. i was putting treats outside for our nature animal friends, and it was getting windy, and beginning to snow more during the 7am hour. it's very wild nature out there, the force of nature is absolutely incredible! We're in good spirits, and been hanging out today. it's wild to see how fast the snow was coming down, and the winds, whoosh! whoosh!!! it did turn to rain around afternoon :) This is so wild, getting a winterstorm this late into the winter season. my family and i thank you all for your wonderful well wishes, prayers, and for checking in on us :) We've been thinking of you all often today, and hoping everyone is doing ok. Hi angel friends! :) my family and i are thinking of you all, and we hope everyone is doing ok, and our prayers are with everyone who is experiencing the severe wintery weather. it's wintery here in our area. We're all doing ok, and keeping safe and warm. it's been another wild wintery day, that reminds us of the winter storm we recieved in early february. We've been riding out the storm here at home today. it began to get very snowy, and windy here this morning, during the 7am hour. i was bundled up for my early morning nature walk, and i was in the bird sanctuary area of our yard, putting treats, and goodies, and i saw the snow blowing in the winds, off of our roof! when i saw that, i knew we were in for a very wintery day. our state has closed the highways until 5pm, and schools/some businesses closed. It's absolutely incredible to see, how fast the snow began to fall this morning. wow! i've got some pictures, and videos to share with everyone in my journal today.

It's a good day to bundle up, and keep warm :) We've had some heavy winds in our area, and is gonna remain windy into the evening and night. We're so hopeful the power remains on. We've been keeping updated on our local news, sites, and tv today. they've had some great coverage of the winterstorm. it's been a wild month of march weather, and is very late winter to have a huge winterstorm like this. We've been keeping everyone in our prayers, hoping and praying for everyone's safety, and hope everyone is keeping warm :) We've had a sweet treats tuesday at home today :) i've been making some nice hot teas with vanilla creamer, and also made some oatmeal with cinnamon and peanut butter :) cheers! to family, friends, and to keeping warm, as the storm passes through.

WINTERSTORM UPDATES! INTO THE STORM! i went back outside shortly before 9am, the snow and winds really picked up. i cleared our walkway, and i also put more bird seeds and peanuts on the feeders and tree branches :) we love to take care of our nature friends, i saw some birds. the winds picking up a lot, out there. the snow blowing in all directions. in the bird sanctuary area, the trees/wind, really howl when it gets windy during snow storms. the visibility is low, off into the distance, you can barely see trees that you usually are able to see. i came back indoors, warmed up, and had my hot vanilla tea :) our pets are all keeping warm :) they love the space heaters, and our fireplace themed heater in our living room :)

i went back outside around 9:40am, and made a nature video of the winterstorm. the winds are higher up winds, and the snow is coming down very fast. i came indoors, and made another hot tea :) here's a link to my nature video i made :)

HUGE SNOWFLAKES!!! after 10am, we had some massively huge snowflakes falling in our area! oh my! some of the largest snowflakes i've seen. i just had to go back outside to experience the nature, and made a 2nd nature video :)

The snow turned to sleet/rain around late morning. i heard the sleet upon my window with the winds. it's definitely a good day to keep warm, and having some hot drinks :) i cooked some cabbage, with carrots and butternut squash for lunch, and been hanging out today :) my dad and sister Lisa waited to hear if domino's pizza would be opening up for the late afternoon/evening.

We're enjoying a super sweet, and wild day! :) winterstorm, keeping safe and warm :) my family and i are doing well, and are in great spirits :) We're so hopeful for the winds to ease, and we hope for a much nicer weather day tomorrow. it's been a wild day, riding out the storm here at home. the winds are very fierce. We're hoping the power remains on. will keep everyone updated :) i'm not sure if we'll go out to the post office tomorrow morning, will definitely see how the roads/conditions are.
