Happy sweet treats tuesday!!! :) SUNFLOWERS REACHING FOR THE SWEET BLUE SUMMER SKY! :) oh my! :)a beautiful butterfly visited our yard and garden today! :) i took some awesome pictures!!! :) the butterfly was flying and floating all around! :) Caramel iced coffee CHEERS!!! on this sweet classic, and golden sunny summer day! :) Spirit soaring nature!!! :) i love it! :) it's a day of treats, treasures, writing, and sunny nature! :) the SUNFLOWER SUN RACE, week 9 measuring, has brought some very INCREDIBLE RESULTS! :) oh my! :)WOW! WOW! WOW! :) We got another SUNNY growing comeback in the sunflower sun race! :) HERE COMES SUNNY!!! :) this race is on! :) Whooo! :) We're enjoying a SUPER SWEET DAY!!! :) my mom, Lisa, Alyssa, and i enjoyed a nice time going to mcdonalds this morning, to get treats :) i got my favorite treats, and also measured the sunflowers this morning :) Both Sunny and Sunshine sunflowers, are blossoming beautifully in the garden :) our weather cooled down here, and is nicely comfortable, it was in the 60's this morning, and the golden sun was rising and shining :) the birds all gathered in the bird sanctuary, to enjoy a nice breakfast :) Today, i climbed up onto the chair, to get a measuring of the sunflowers, they sure are growing WILD! : )Both of the sunflowers, have multiple stems growing, which will pro-long the sunflower sun race this season :) It's gonna be so exciting, to see which sunflower grows the tallest, and wins :) It's a very close race! :) i'm so very happy, excited, and thrilled! :) i'm having a Dream Come True writing week! :) awww! :) i love it! :) i'm writing cards, a letter, notes :) Gearing up, for our super fun, and super sweet, spirit soaring, GREETINGS from CT, post office adventure tomorrow :) i am super pumped up and hyped up already! :) Woot! :) i've been putting finishing touches on my writings, and really excited to go to the post office tomorrow :) It's a really nice day :) i've been enjoying some nature walks, checking in on the plants :) i had my weigh-in this morning, i'm doing really well, with my healthy eating goals :) i've been having lots of salads, blueberries, cheerios, really nice wholesome, balanced diet, with lots of my favorite foods :) i'm feeling energized, and spirited :) Double caramel iced coffee CHEERS!!! to family, friends, and to spirit soaring days :) Tomorrow's super wednesday! :) The ghost hunters party is on! :)Whooo!!! :)
SUNNY SUNFLOWER SMILES, on this beautiful summer day! :) oh my! :) when i walked outside this morning, it was so much cooler than yesterday, it actually felt like a nice cool september morning :) refreshing, and the birds were out early, singing happily :) this is a pure joy, and delight today, enjoying the cooler weather, and spirit soaring all around our yard and gardens :) speaking of spirit soaring, those sunflowers are SOARING toward the sun! :) WOW! :) i've got lots to share, including a super cool measuring results, for week 9, of the 2014 Sunflower sun race :) oh wow! :) week 9 already! : )i've been having such a sweet time every tuesday, measuring the sunflowers :) it's such a cool tradition, that i look forward to sharing with everyone :) i'm sipping a nice caramel iced coffee, on this awesome sweet treats tuesday! :)
One of our favorite traditions, and joys of the week, is sweet treats tuesday :) my niece Alyssa has been joining us, for when we go out to get treats :) She went with us this morning :) we enjoyed a nice car ride over to mcdonalds early, it was so nice, as the sun was still rising way up into the sky, a few clouds, creating a golden glow with blue sky all around :) this is the time of the year, when you see lots of summer wildflowers blossoming :) golden yellow, purple, and lots more flowers, that have been blossoming around :) we love going over to get some treats :) at mcdonalds, we got our favorites! :) mcdonalds has iced lattes now, my niece Alyssa loves iced lattes, she got one :) very nice! :) i got my favorite, breakfast burrito, with picante sauce, and a caramel iced coffee :) delicious! :) CHEERS!!! :) we've been having lots of nice sweet treats tuesday's this summer season :) it's always such a great joy :) i've been thinking about how very soon, the restaurants will begin to get some nice pumpkin spiced treats, including muffins, pies, and iced coffees/lattes :) they usually get them in early september, which isn't too far away : )it's truly incredible, how we're almost into the month of August now :) i hear some happy birds singing outside here, and that blue sky, is a deep shade of blue today :) cool, sunny, and awesome summer time joys :)
i've been having a dream come true writing week this week :) Writing postcards, a letter for my lovely ds mum (Bloss), plus some notes :) i'm gearing up, for a super fun post office adventure tomorrow, to send lots and lots of love, and sunny greetings smiles, from our hearts, and home to yours :) it's gonna be so nice, going to mail these special treasures, including mailing the Gremlins dvd/movie to our dear friend Holly :) We're planning a fun movie night, on saturday night next weekend :) The summer season is in full swing, and as the month of August approaches, these deep days of summer, with continued gardening joys, will continue to blossom many beautiful memories into our hearts :) from flowers blossoming, to the joys of harvesting fruits and vegetables :) This morning, as i went outside, for my early morning nature walk, the cooler air, was so nice, and refreshing :) i picked a cucumber from our garden, to enjoy with a salad :) i love adding cucumber slices to my salads :) it's so nice, and garden crisp and fresh :) i would love to take this time, to share with you all, the results, for today's week 9, Sunflower sun race measuring :)
SUNFLOWER SUN RACE, WEEK 9, MEASURING RESULTS! :) oh my! :) SUNFLOWERS RISE AND SHINE! :) and CHEER AND CHEER! :) woot! :) it's week 9, of the summer tradition, the sunflower sun race! :) i am so very happy, and excited! :) i've been enjoying a fun time, going outside to measure the sunflowers, every tuesday morning :) it's become an awesome, and super cool tradition to look forward too each week :) i remember it like it was yesterday, when the sunflowers first began to sprout and grow, and now they are so tall, and towering over us, in the gardens :) it's really incredible to see :) the sunflower sun race this year, has been wild, memorable, and so very thrilling! :) Last week, Sunshine was 97 inches tall, and Sunny was 91 inches tall :) i am so excited to share with everyone, that we have another SUNNY growing comeback, in the sunflower sun race! :) Sunshine has been leading the race, the past few weeks, but here comes Sunny sunflower! :) Here are the measuring results, for week 9, of the sunflower sun race! :)
SUNSHINE SUNFLOWER MEASURED IN AT, 104 INCHES TALL! :) (it grew 7 inches over the course of the week!) :)

WOW! :) This sunflower sun race, is heating up! :) Both sunny and sunshine, are blossoming, but have multiple stems growing on the main stem, so i am going to continue to measure those growing stems, which could grow a bit taller than the original blossoms :) This is so cool, and will pro-long the sunflower sun race :) the race is so close, sunshine has a 2 inch growing lead :) this is so exciting, and i already can't wait, to see next week's measuring results :) the race is continuing to heat up :) i'll keep everyone updated, on how the sunflowers are doing :) all of our plants, continue to flourish nicely :) our snowball bush, is glowing in our front yard :) the bumble bees, love the snowball bush :) We have new cosmos blossoming, our sunflowers, which are mammoth sunflowers growing in planters on the side of our front steps, are growing so very tall :)
i love to see, how the sunflowers lean toward the sun, throughout the course of the day :) it's like the sun is their angel, and they follow the sun's lead, during the day :) from leaning that way, to the other way, it's an amazing nature sight, and experience :) The nasturiums, and wildflowers, continue to blossom beautifully, and our fruits, and vegetables plants, are growing wild :) lots of fresh tomaotes, peppers, potatoes, string beans, and cucumbers growing :) our pumpkin plants are continuing to do well too :) We're so hopeful, for a pumpkin to begin to grow for halloween season :) Our grapes, continue to flourish :) they'll be ripening up, during the month of august :) it's been one of our biggest grapes growing seasons, since 2009 :) i can't wait to pick those grapes, such a nice garden treat :) our corn plants, are growing tall :) It's a pure joy, to see, how many plants are growing in the garden, and thinking back to the early days of the gardening season :) the gardens have grown so much :) nature, and gardening is incredible :)
Happy friendship smiles, sent with lots and lots of love, from Kentucky! :) awww! :) This is so very beautifully heart warming, and very special :) my family and i recieved a lovely treasure, from our dear, and lovely friends Shirley (Squarley), Bruce, and their family :) it's a beautiful flowers themed card, with blue flowers, and there's a sweet note, on the front of the card :) inside the card, Shirley wrote us a lovely friendship note :) awww! :) This is so nice, and sweet :) Shirley's been keeping us updated, on how her husband Bruce is doing. he's been making some great healing progress. my family and i are so glad, and thankful :) We've been keeping Shirley, Bruce, and their family in our thoughts, and prayers. You all are family to us, and we care deeply about you all, our dear friends :) You all always have a special place in our hearts :) Friends forever :) This is so nice, and sweet of Shirley, Bruce, and their family to send us this lovely card :) We love it, and will always cherish, and treasure it :) i'm going to put our card here in my writing area :) Shirley, Bruce, family, my family and i thank you all so very much, for this beautiful treasure :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) sending lots and lots of love, and happy friendship smiles across the miles, from our hearts, and home to yours :)
We're enjoying a SUPER SWEET DAY! :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) a beautiful butterfly has been visiting our yard, and gardens today :) i got some SUPER COOL views/pictures of the butterfly to share with everyone :) i love that amazing nature, and how it shines :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed some tomato vegetable soup, a nice fresh crisp salad with green olives, cucumber slices, and croutons, and also had a baked salsa tortilla wrap :) lunch was delicious! :) i won a $10 i-tunes gift card today, on the pepsi text contest :) my mom, Lisa, and i play the contest each day, i gave the gift card to Kayla :) She has i-tunes :) She's so happy! :)  i've been enjoying some nature walks, and my iced coffee :) i watered the plants :) i'm also finishing up some nice writings, gearing up for our super fun post office adventure tomorrow :) super wednesday is gonna be awesome! :) i'm feeling a really spirited joy, and peace within :) i've been enjoying some nice time with my family today, and writing to friends here on ds : )Thank you angel friends, so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNNY SUNFLOWER HUGS :) Tonight, i'm going to enjoy a healthy snack, and going to watch some tv :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)

BUTTERFLY IN THE GARDENS! :) awww! :) i spotted this beautiful butterfly today, happily visiting our gardens :) this is wonderful nature, is so incredible, and heart warming :) i was noticing the butterfly was visiting many of our garden areas, our fruit trees, and even landed up upon our umbrella near our patio area :) very cool! :) i took these nice pictures of the butterfly :) summer time nature :)





SUNFLOWER SUN RACE! :) it's a sunny sunshine race toward the sweet blue sky and sun! :) it's week 9, of the 2014 sunflower sun race :) it's so much fun, measuring the sunflowers :) the sunflowers are growing WILD!!! and TALL! :) i love to measure the sunflowers on tuesday's :) it's a very close race, 104 inches to 102 inches, Sunshine has a 2 inches lead, but Sunny is making a growing comeback :)
