Happy Sunny Sunday! :) Iced coffee Cheers! :) We're enjoying an awesome day, and a great weekend! :) The nature is spirit soaring, as we settle into the new month of May :) We're loving seeing our plants, and garden coming along very well :) We're so happy,and excited about lots of great things :) We've been enjoying tending our plants, and planter trays in our greenhouse :) We could see some new sprouts this upcoming week :) We're looking forward to planting lots more, including flowers seeds, banana peppers, and sunflowers :) The gardening season is just beginning :) There's lots of great things going on :) Holly and i enjoyed some nature walks today, tending our plants, and taking in all of the beautiful sunny nature sights :) our weather is warmer today, and the breeze eased. i took some sweet new nature pictures to share :) it's been a really nice stretch of days :) We're having a fun time blossoming into the new month of May :) We've had some TWD dvds on today, enjoying some foods, snacks,and drinks :) i've been browsing some collectibles on ebay,amazon, etsy, and also getting some cool gift ideas :) i have some heart-thoughts to share, about missing our normal derby day traditions, i felt a great deal of sadness after 6pm yesterday, with thoughts of missing our annual derby day traditions like going to the mohegan sun. i know so many are missing certain times, traditions, our hearts feel for you too <3 we're with you angel friends :) we hope to get back to our full derby day traditions, and celebrations next year :) We're looking forward to blossoming into the upcoming week, with writings, nature walks, gardening, all of our weekly traditions, adventures, plus my dad's birthday on thursday :) There's so much more to look forward too :) my brother Bobby and family stopped by to visit for a little while today, my brother and i were talking coins, and i showed him my cool football helmets :) Enjoying an awesome day, and a sweet spring spirited weekend, with family,friends, gardening, and that classic golden spirit of spring season :) We're ready to blossom into another great spring week :)

Sweet Blossoming May! :) Hi angel friends! :) my family, Holly, and i are doing well, healthy,and enjoying a nice day ,and a great weekend :) That classic, and golden spring spirit is all around, as the season continues to shine :) Lots of happy birds visiting our yard :) we refilled our feeders today :) the birds are doing wild, gathering the goodies :) they're very happy :) We're enjoying settling into the month of May, and all of the spring nature that's glowing all around :) We're so proud of the gardening we've been doing ,and are very heart happy and excited to be doing more and more gardening, especially as the month of May settles in :) We've been doing some light gardening today, tending our plants, and planning some more gardening for this upcoming week :) it's a very exciting time in the season :) We have some may celebrations coming up, along with lots more nature and gardening adventures :) Thank you all, our dear angel friends, for making our days very special, and bringing our hearts a wonderful warmth and joy :) Cheers! to you! :)

We're enjoying the weekend :) This morning, we had another sweet day, rising and shining :) We love hearing from you all, and hearing about your days :) i was up early this morning, enjoying some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and getting ready for my early morning nature walk :) The nature is spirit soaring this time of the year, with lots of our nature friends singing happily in the morning :) this morning, there was a bird outside our window, it began to sing, and then more and more birds began to sing :) sweet nature tunes! :) i gathered a big bowl of goodies, and went outside for my nature walk :) The sun was rising up more, and creating that golden glow upon the nature :) it's awesome to see :) i put lots of goodies in our backyard :) our trees have filled in nicely, with the nice new leaves that have grown, there's this amazing peacefulness amongst the nature, especially as the new day is blossoming :) i love looking up at the trees, all of the new leaves :) it's incredible, the views of nature throughout the seasons, and year :) the trees were sleeping during winter, and now are full of leaves, it's amazing :) i love seeing our nature friends visiting our yard :) i saw some bluejays, and sparrows this morning :)

it's feeling like, and looking like, classic spring :) We love our garden greenhouse, and are so excited to be adding planters, trays, and plants into it :) it's so exciting, we could see some new sprouts this upcoming week :) so far, we've planted popcorn seeds, cucumber seeds, yellow squash seeds, tomato seeds, flower seeds, and also going to be planting carrots seeds, and banana peppers seeds :) We have a nice large planter, we're gonna fill with soil soon, and so excited to grow carrots for the first time :) it's a special garden request, from Holly :) We got the seeds on ebay :) as the weather continues to get warmer, we'll be planting more seeds, in our front yard planters, along with snap peas, string beans, and lots more :) We have some nice bags of soil :) we added a bag of top soil into our raised garden bed area :) we're so excited to have this extra area this year, to plant plants :) Our plants, flower bushes, and fruit trees are continuing to do really well, along with our grapevines, and raspberry bushes :) it's a great joy, seeing everything flourishing :) it's gonna be another great growing week, for all of the nature :) Holly and i want to garden at least 3 or 4 days this upcoming week:) we're keeping an eye on the weather forecast, for the overnight/morning temperatures, as we had a couple nights/mornings dip down to the low 40's, we like to plant the garden seeds when it's about a consistent 50 degrees over higher overnight/mornings :) it's gonna be awesome doing more planting :) We have some more sunflower sprouts, and also some morning glory flower sprouts growing :) it's an awesome start to the gardening season :)

We've been hanging out today, doing some organizing, browsing online at gifts, collectibles, and also having a TWD marathon in between our nature walks, and gardening :) We did some light gardening today, tending our plants, and also moved some more planters in our front yard garden area :)we're gonna be planting 2 rows of popcorn plants, in the planters near our dogwood tree :) it's a great sunny spot, where the popcorn plants grow very well :) we have 28 popcorn seeds we planted :) we'd love to grow at least that many popcorn plants :) it's so much fun growing popcorn :) We're excited for the upcoming week :) We're getting ready for my dad's birthday on thursday :) there's a chance we may go for a car ride next weekend, it be nice to go out for a ride, my mom and dad mentioned about maybe going to Westerly, Rhode Island, to get some treats at Bess Eaton's donuts place, to get some treats, and driving down to Barn Island :) i'll definitely keep everyone updated on our plans :) i've been enjoying my new collectibles, i'm so happy and excited about completing my collection of all 4, team logs of the Washington football team from over the years :) i love going over to my shelves, to look at my collection :) i'll definitely be adding more to my collection :)

The derby was yesterday evening. i wanted to write from my heart here, about how i felt yesterday evening. i experienced some sadness, after 6pm. as it got closer to derby time. thoughts, feelings began for me, of what i miss most, about the derby day experience. i thought of missing our annual trip to the mohegan sun casino, the convention center, race book, seeing cool sights down there, the excitement of placing bets on the derby, and getting some treats at krispy kreme donuts, and coming home and counting down to the derby. the derby day without all of that, just isn't the same for us all. We did watch the derby, but the sad feelings i personally experienced, it just was hard for me to really get into it. i just didn't know how i'd feel as the evening went on. we all are experiencing times during the pandemic, of missing certain things. the mohegan sun casino, as much as we wish we could have went, we just feel it was an unnecessary risk, as lots of people go there, and many out of state travelers, and we just felt it was best not to go there yesterday, especially with the pandemic still going on. i miss those times, of our original derby days, and sharing about our mohegan sun adventure, and pictures. we're happy for all that enjoyed the derby. we all miss the usual derby day excitement. i felt depressed about it last night. i rarely feel bummed out about things, and the sad thoughts yesterday evening really bummed me out. i had to allow myself to feel sad about it, i just didn't want to surpress those feelings of my heart and spirit. i just hope next year, we're able to return to the mohegan sun, for a full derby day experience. :) i kinda wish i hadn't watched any coverage of it, especially the race, it just made me more sad, than joyful. i think until we get to return to our normal derby day traditions, i most likely won't tune into any derby stuff, until we all get to enjoy it like we use too, with the full experience of derby day. i know so many people are missing special traditions, occasions, our hearts feel for everyone, and you all have our full support. we're continuing to keep safe, taking good care, and we know with time, we'll get to be able to enjoy more, and hopefully next year, we'll have double the derby day experience, with a super long adventure at the mohegan sun on derby day in 2022 :)
