Happy Sunday

Seems no matter how late those cats stay up, they rise so early! the birds are singing by 4:30 a.m., I guess thats motivation for them. lolI dont have one window cill that isnt constantly being covered in cat hair. Thats not as bad as the little crumbs of kitty litter they leave on the toilet seat. now why would they prefer drinking out of the toilet when thier water dish is filled with fresh filtered water daily? Damned cats. lol. Good thing we keep the toilet scrubbed.Its been a quiet weekend, thank Heavens, I spent most of yesterday reading. I have a book someone at A.A. lent me, its called "living Sober", its a really good book, helpful too. I dont have trouble living sober, I think because I had so many years sobriety before I had quit doing the steps, and had my slip. thats how important the steps are. Thats what keeps me sober.However, I remember the first time I joined A.A., I think it was 17 years ago, I was not used to doing things without alcohol, and I packed the kids up, we filled the truck with a mattress, and all the camping stuff for a weekend, drove to a campground, I was so nervous, I ended up just turning around and going back home.My sponsor told me it was because it was the first time I tried it sober. She was right. I had a few struggles like that at first, it took quite awhile before my confidence came, and I could freely do things without panic.All things are easier to deal with when you know you only have to do it TODAY. just one day at a time. Well, the sun is shining, it snowed huge flakes yesterday, but they melted right away, I swear some flakes were as big as my hand. lol It was so beautiful.Its supposed to snow all this week, so today, I am going to rake leaves again.I hope everyone has a beautiful day.
