Happy Preakness Stakes Horse Race Day! :) Mohegan Sun, and Walmart shopping :)

HAPPY PREAKNESS STAKES HORSE RACE DAY!!! :) oh my! :) oh boy!!! :) GO HORSES! GO! :) ICED TEA CHEERS!!! on this beautifully sweet spirited day! :) This day is rocking and rolling! :) whooo! :) We're gearing up for the big race this evening! :)The Preakness Stakes! :) it's a day of nature, a visit to the Mohegan Sun Casino, and a spirited shopping adventure at walmart! :) i am so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled! :) We're having a preakness stakes party this evening! :) cheering on the horses! :) it's the 2nd race in the triple crown! :) i played #1 horse ORB, with 7 other horses in exacta bets! :) my mom and dad placed some bets too! :) We had a fun time going to the Mohegan Sun casino this afternoon. :) We went to the race book. :) my brother Bobby joined us! :) he's placing bets on the race too! :) this is super mega sweet awesome!!! :) we saw some of the races on the HUGE screens at the racebook! :) WOW! :) i cashed in my winning derby ticket, $58. :) i'm smiling and smiling! :) We got our tickets all set, and we are ready to CHEER! CHEER! CHEER!!! on the horses! :) this is gonna be sweet!!! :) we hope to win! :) after we were all set at the casino, my mom, dad, and i then went shopping at walmart! :) i bought 4 packets of garden seeds! :) mammoth sunflowers, Kentucky wonder pole beans (string beans), sweet corn seeds, and i also got some nasturium dwarf jewel flowers. :) We're doing some gardening tomorrow. :) also at walmart, my mom and i bought some collectible hotwheels cars for our dear friend Holly. :) i've been thinking of you all often today. :) on the way home, my mom, dad, and i went to mcdonalds to get some iced cold drinks. :) mmm mmm! :) yum! :)This is such a wonderful day! :) We're so happy, and excited, to celebrate nature joys, and the preakness horse race with everyone! :) the race is on NBC channel, around 6:15pm this evening. :) LETS GO HORSES! LETS GO! WHOOO! :) this is lots of fun! :) Enjoying this beautiful day, with family, and friends. :)
my family and i are sending lots and lots of love, and happy friendship hugs, from our home to yours. :) We hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful day! :) i am so very happy, and excited about many awesome things! :) it's Preakness Stakes horse race day! :) it's the 2nd race, of the triple crown. :) 2 weeks ago, Orb won the Kentucky Derby, and is going for the 2nd win in a row, the Preakness, in Baltimore Maryland, at Pimlico racetrack. :) my mom, dad, and i are having an awesome day! :) We went out this afternoon, to the Mohegan Sun, and walmart. :) We've got our preakness tickets all set, and are ready to cheer on the horses! :) we played a variety of bets! :) We're very happy and excited, about the big race this evening. :) We love the triple crown, and celebrating it with everyone. :) i am so very hyped up right now! :) hehe! :) this is great! :)
The sweet joys, of spring time! :) i've been thinking of you all often today. :) We're with eachother in spirit. :) it's such a wonderful time of the year, the month of may is in full swing, and lots of joyful moments, and sweet memories being made. :) next weekend, is memorial day weekend. :) today while my mom, dad, and i were shopping, we were talking about how next week, we're gonna be having our big gardening weekend, and firing up the BBQ grill, with the spring sun shining, and cooking some delicious foods! :) i absolutely can't wait to have a nice grilled hotdog, and cheeseburger! :) i'm getting hungry just thinking about it! :) hehe! :) i want to take this time, to thank you all so very much, for all of your beautifully heart warming comments on our baking friday journal, and pictures. :) We're so happy, and delighted everyone enjoyed our pizza themed baking friday adventure :) that warms our hearts, and makes us smile. :) We love sharing our adventures. :) we had pizza for dinner yesterday evening :) next friday, we're baking chicken pot pies. :) it's gonna be another sweet adventure! :)
This morning, a beautiful new morning was rising and shining! :) my family and i were very happy and excited about the day. :) my nieces Kayla and Taylynn went out to visit with Taylynn's dad's parents. :) they go to visit with them on saturday's. :) they sometimes go to get happy meals, and having fun visiting. :) it's such a sweet time of the year. :) This morning, i enjoyed some nice time here on DS, writing to friends, and i also went out for some nature walks. :) our plants, and fruit trees are doing really well. :) i was admiring all of the beautiful views of peaceful spring time nature. :) i spotted some of our nature animal friends this morning. :) i put lots of goodies all around our yard for them. :) they sing happily. :) Earlier today, i spotted a robin bird, gathering grass, sticks, to build a nest! :) so sweet and adorable! :) a robin built a nest in our pine tree in the nature forest in our yard! :) my dad and i have lots of gardening planned, throughout the upcoming days, and next week. :) We're gearing up, to plant our full gardens. :)
my sister Jenn, and little Michael came over this morning to visit, and my brother Bobby, his girlfriend Stacy, and their baby Ryan came over to visit during the early afternoon. :) it's nice visiting. :) my dad and i did some studying on the preakness stakes race horses. :) my dad was reading on the website about the horses, and we were making our picks. :) We got ready to go out during early afternoon. :) we love celebrating the triple crown horse races with everyone. :)
MOHEGAN SUN, HERE WE COME!!! :) my mom, dad, and i began to make our way to the mohegan sun casino. :) it's right down the road from us. :) We were very excited about placing our bets. :) the Kentucky derby was just 2 weeks ago, and now it's time for the preakness stakes. :) we drove past malerba's farm, the golf course, and peaceful pond on the way to the casino. :) malerba's farm is rocking and rolling, lots of plants for sale. :) my dad and i are going garden shopping there next week, during our big gardening weekend. :) i looked for the ducks swimming in the peaceful pond, i didn't spot them, bit i know they are somewhere amongst the pond on a beautiful day like today, lots of sunshine from time to time, plus it's in the 70's here. :)
We arrived at the Mohegan Sun, and parked in the parking garage. :) my dad had our money, and picks on a paper, and we took the elevatar to the main lobby area, and walked into the hall area on our way to the casino. :) We saw some more beautiful native American artwork, and crafts. :) we approached closer the escalators, where they have lots of cool decoratives hanging up there. :) we entered the main part of the casino, it looked a bit less crowded than derby day. :) we walked the big walkways through the casino, the sounds of slots machines buzzing! :) it's an amazing atmosphere, it's like a whole other world down there. :) even though there's many people all around, i felt relaxed, as there's many dim lighted areas there. :) i didn't experience any anxiety! :) You all are always right there with us in spirit during our adventures. :)
We walked over to the racebook, my dad first went in to cash in my winning derby ticket. :) i won $58 on the derby, with Golden Soul horse. :) my mom was finalizing her picks. :) i thanked my dad for cashing in my winning ticket. :) we walked back into the racebook, my brother came in too! :) he was betting on the preakness. :) my dad placed our bets. :) i played 7 bets, with #1 ORB winning, and having 7 other horses to come in 2nd, for exacta bets. :) my mom played some place/exacta tickets, and my dad played some exacta tickets. :) We saw some of the races on the HUGE screens inside the racebook. :) there's lots of tracks there, Pimlico, Churchill downs, Belmont, and others. :) very cool! :) we were all set, we waved to my brother, and then made our back through the casino. :) my mom, dad, and i were talking about the races, and how we'd love to come down to the racebook someday to bet on some of the daily races they have there. :) we walked back through the hall areas, and made our way back to the parking garage. :)
my mom, dad, and i then went to walmart. :) my mom needed to pick up a few items, plus we wanted to browse around. :) we made our way over to the local walmart, and parked our car. :) we walked into walmart, it wasn't that busy. :) my mom bought a new shirt. :) i'm so happy she treated herself to a new shirt. :) we walked the main aisle, i did really well! :) i felt so confident! :) i was in the sweet calm relaxing, and peacefully confidence soaring zone! :) it felt very natural. :) this was great! :) we began to walk into inner part of the store, they put lots of spring/summer items out. :) we went over to the hotwheels aisle. :) i wanted to see if they had some nice collectible cars. :) our dear friend Holly collects them, i love to buy a few cars for her from time to time for her collection. :)
Walmart stocked up their hotwheels aisles. :) wow! :) i picked out 4 cool cars for Holly, and my mom picked up a cool car for her too! :) awww! :) it was nice browsing around. :) we went over to the cats/dogs foods aisle, and then made our way to the garden center. :) i was browsing around at the seeds, i bought a packet of mammoth sunflower seeds, Kentucky Wonder pole beans, nasturium dwarf jewel flowers seeds, and sweet corn seeds. :) We went on a couple food aisles, and then went to the checkout. :) the checkout area went smoothly, it was so nice. :) we did really well. :) we went outside, and were talking about our adventures today. :) This day is rocking and rolling! :) we put our stuff into our car, and my mom, dad, and i then went to mcdonalds. :) We got some nice iced cold drinks. :) my mom got an iced tea, my dad got a caramel iced coffee, and i got a nice sweet iced tea. :) CHEERS!!! :) it's a really nice day. :)
my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits. :) There's so many nice things going on, and many special memories being made. :) This evening, we're going to watch the Preakness Stakes horse race. :)We're gonna be cheering and cheering on the horses! :) it's so exciting cheering! :) Tomorrow, we're going to do some gardening. :) i want to clean, and organize our gardens, and also gonna do some planting. :) it would be great to plant some nasturiums tomorow, and also some more sunflowers, sweet corn, and we'd love to plant some rows of string beans. :) it's gonna be a sweet nature/gardening day. :) my family and i love this time of the year, and want to take this time, to thank you all so very much, for celebrating with us, and thank you for all that you do for us. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) i enjoyed some nice talks on the phone today, with our dear, and lovely friends, Maria (Love4you), Holly, and Jasmine (JasmineRenee) :) it's so nice talking. :) i'm feeling a great joy, happiness, peace, and excitement within, celebrating each day to the fullest, with my wonderful family and wonderful friends. :) tonight, our dear friend Holly and i are going to watch videos on youtube :) everyone who is watching the preakness stakes horse race this evening, we hope you enjoy the race. :) GO HORSES! CAMERA UPDATE. hi angel friends, this morning, my super zoom camera stopped working. it says, "system error", i'm gonna clean the camera, around the lens area, and hopeful it will work again. i have been using my old camera today, that i got in 2009, it's my old reliable camera that i use, when my super zoom camera doesn't work. i'm hopeful i will be able to get my super zoom to work again very soon. :)
