HAPPY NEW YEAR

I realize I am a day early but I have kind of been preoccupied. Since the end of 2024 is fast approaching, I just thought I would take a minute to send warm wishes and lots of thoughts and prayers to so very many friends.

For better health, less financial worries, the ability to do more, travel more and make and share more memories with friends and family.

I'm not sure what your plans are for New Year's Eve, but I will be watching the countdown all bundled up with my fuzzy throw toasting in 2025 with my ATREAT diet cream soda. and nibbling on munchies.    WOO_HOO

Some of you must be in 2025 already, while others of us are waiting for midnight many miles away and having quite an evening wait yet.

Since we don't have guarantees on what the new year brings, I have been focusing today on a plan to put my appreciation on moments of peace or kindness or gifts of stable or improved health or strength for accepting things that it seems we don't have power to change but just need to keep moving on through as best we can. I guess those things would be part of the Serenity Prayer as well as other teachings.

But I do like your idea, Bill, of a moratorium on dying off during 2025. And in my own life putting more of my concentration on gratitude, since so many good things come my way even on my "bad" days. You folks always take me back to that helpful, positive action.

Now I can say 2025 is actually here for ALL of us by now. Liam I do agree on being thankful for even little things (because there are more of them we can even imagine that we do take for granted.)
