We're enjoying a nice new years holiday, and a great first day of the new year. :) 2013. :) Here we are! :) beginning a new year. :) Today on the news, i got a chance to see some of the beautiful new years fireworks shows, and celebrations, all around the world. :) It's so nice, welcoming and ringing in the new year together. :) CHEERS! to a great 2013, and many more wonderful times, to celebrate the spirit of life, joyful moments, and very special times, that touches the heart in many beautiful ways. :) We love celebrating these special times with you all. :) we're having a nice peaceful and quiet new years eve at home. :) my mom's cooking her delicious ham dinner. :) we love ham dinner, on new years day. :) Kayla, and Taylynn have been playing a lot today. :) They return to school tomorrow. :) They've had a wonderful holiday vacation, and are looking forward to seeing their friends, and hearing about the family's them and their family's enjoyed. :)
As we celebrate the joys of a sweet arrival of the new year, we are with eachother in spirit. :) yesterday evening, new years eve, we had some nice macaroni salad, snacks, like pepperoni, cheese, crackers, chips, salsa, and my sister Lisa brought home a nice pepperoni pizza. :) yum! :) Everything was so nice. :) we enjoyed the meal, and snacks. :) We still have our Christmas tree up, and my mom and i were enjoying looking at the tree, and thinking back to the holiday week, an amazing Christmas holiday, and countdown to the New Year. :) We have such wonderful hope, that 2013 is going to be an incredible new year. :) Last night, i called our dear, and lovely friend Holly. :) we have a nice new years eve celebration, watching videos on youtube. :) We watched Redskins and Ravens highlights videos, fans videos, and we also watched a Christmas episode of the travel channel show called "Toy Hunters" :) it was awesome! :) i have stayed up to midnight the past 2 years, but last night i was extremely tired. i had stayed up until nearly 1am on sunday night, celebrating the Redskins victory. :) i knew i wasn't gonna make it to staying up to midnight, but was happy to at least stay up until about 10:30pm. :) i really needed the extra sleep. :) i got about a good extra 3 hours of sleep, i woke up at nearly 6:40am this morning. :) i'm still a bit tired, but am taking it easy, resting, enjoying wonderful quality time with family and friends here on DS, and enjoying the spirit of the day. :) i enjoyed a nice nature walk, feeding our nature animal friends, and there was a beautiful sunrise :)
it's so nice, welcoming a new year. :) continuing to work on goals, setting new goals, and looking forward to many more amazing times this year, to spend with family and friends. :) to begin the new year, i'm re-focusing on my current goals, like pacing myself, enjoying lots of nature, nature walks, drinking more water, and re-dedicating myself to eating healthier, and also making sure i take time to take good care of myself. :) Those are my goals, for this year, and the years to come. :) i like goals, that i can work all hard to achieve, putting forth effort, and staying dedicated, motivated, inspired, and determined. :) the new year arriving, it truly feels like a nice fresh new start. :) it's like a SUNFLOWER blossoming in the early morning hours during a sunrise. :) i wanted to write about my healthy eating goal. :) this goal, is a roll-over goal, from last year. :)
From October, through the holidays, i didn't eat too well, when it comes to eating healthy, so i definitely am getting back on the track, slowly, and gradually, at a good peaceful pace. :) i had my NEW YEARS DAY WEIGH-IN TODAY! :) i wanted to weigh myself, to see how much i weigh, to begin the year, and when i got on the scale, i was very surprised. my weight, is 215. wow! i was expecting it to be much higher than that, but to see it say 215, i was really surprised. oh my! i haven't gained any weight, since October, which really surprises me. when i had gotten sick last July, and lost about 15 pounds through september, i think my metabolism level went really high, and i ended up not gaining gain through halloween, and the holidays. i really have set my mind, to eat healthier, even during mid-holiday season, i set my goal to begin eating better, on January 1st, re-dedicating myself to my goal. :) Eating more healthy well balanced meals, more fruits, vegetables. :) i am really excited, that i was somehow able to maintain my weight at 215 pounds, and now will be able to take good advantage, of a head-start going into this new year. :)
i'm very excited, to eat healthier, and maybe over the course of the year, i could get down to maybe 205 pounds. :) there's another goal i really want to do more of, and that's exercising. :) during the colder months, it can be hard to find that motivated to exercising, stretching, arm stretches, and going out, as it's very cold weather, but i definitely want to work on this, to exercise more, to make sure i'm stretching, i want to do some arm curls with my 20 pound weight i have. :) i want to look up online, foods that can help me with my energy, especially during the colder months. :) i'm really excited about this, and i felt a boost in my goal spirit throughout the holiday, knowing i'd begin the new year, fresh, and anew. :) i'm really happy, and excited about sharing with everyone, about my goals, progress, success, times when i slip a bit, and i know that with family, friends, i will always be able to get back on track, and to live as healthy as i can. :) our health is so important, and taking good care of our health, is the best thing we can do for ourselves. :) i will also be cheering on all of my family, and friends with their goals they want to recieve. :) i love to help, and i think it's so wonderful, how we support, encourage, guide, and cheer on eachother. :) i am with you all, all the way! :) Here's to a wonderfully healthy 2013. :)
NEW YEARS WRITING AREA :) i am really excited, about a special project i am working on here in my computer room. :) i have been setting up and decorating my new years winter themed writing area. :) everyone knows, how very special my writing area is to me. :) i love my writing area, and have been looking forward to dwelving deep into some new years writing. :) letters, very special thank you cards. :) with the winter season here, i have included my wonderful snowglobes decoratives here in my writing area, with my nice new portfolio organizer, 2 new decorative towels, my winter themed birds and blooms magazine, and many of my beautiful collectibles, from cards, pins, keychains, and lots more. :) my writing area, always is a wonderful dedication to family and friends. :) it's dedicated to you all, and the spirit of the joyful friendships we share. :) i'm so excited, about writing. :) i took a picture of my writing area today, to share with everyone. :) it looks awesome! :) i've got my new red doilee here, with my Redskins tumbler, and have been putting together a nice treasures package for our dear friend Holly, and also wrapping a gift i have for our dear friend Carolyn (Cypher) :) i bought Carolyn a box of tea for her birthday. :) She loves tea. :)
my family and i are enjoying a nice time, celebrating new years holiday with everyone. :) we're doing well, and are in good spirits. :) Tomorrow, my mom and i are going to the post office, our first post office adventure of the new year. :) it's going to be awesome! :) we look forward to sending lots of love, and many smiles across the miles, throughout the year, from our home to yours. :) i am going to be buying some very special friendship thank you cards soon. :) at the Christmas tree shop, i want to stock up on cards. :) i look forward to writing thank you cards, for our wonderful Christmas cards and gifts we recieved, and writing special greetings cards to friends throughout the year. :) There's so much to look forward too. :) i've been doing some nice organizing here in my computer room, i love to tidy up my computer room. :) it's coming along really well. :) within the next week, i should have my computer room fully organized. :)
pacing myself with the organizing, is really helping me. :) i'm feeling a great peace within, beginning the new year, with family, friends, and spirit soaring excitement in my heart. :) i want to take some new nature pictures soon, of our nature animal friends. :) my family and i want to take this time, to thank you all so very  much, for making our holiday season very special, for all of your wonderful well wishes, and for all that you do for us. :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of our hearts. :) BIG GROUP HUG :) tonight, i'm going to lay down early, gonna watch one of my new Dark Knight movies. :) There's lots of great things to look forward too. :)
