Happy New Year.....
Does anyone feel bummed on New Years Eve/Day? I have never celebrated NYE. In other words other than watching the ball drop, maybe sip some non-alcoholic sparkling cider or finding something else to take a drink at the stroke of midnight (Like I'll probably ring it in with apple juice) I just don't want to party, I feel uncomfortable with this whole thing. Aside from it being dangerous out there, people partying early and getting falling down drunk, I don't see the 'thrill'. Technically I celebrated New Year in Sept with Rosh Hashanah. We eat symbolic foods. It doesn't feel stressful to me.
I could use a new year hug. Hugs to you all.

A big hug from me too, Linda! When I was younger and in better health, I would sometimes go out with friends for NYE. However, since I don't drink, and most of my friends are light or non-drinkers, our "partying" was always pretty tame. These days, due to my health, Denny and I typically stay at home for NYE. He is working tonight until 10 pm, so we won't be doing anything other than watching the ball drop on TV. Happy New Year, dear friend!
